You either have honesty and integrity, or you don't... Some people just put politics above everything else, and he is a shining example... You know, "the ends justifies the means" folks.
 
He as well as hundreds if not thousands of other people most likely sold stocks that same day.... Let's move on people... nothing to see here....

Umm, wasn't this pretty much ended on the first page of this trade? If he had no control over the trade, how is it insider trading? The very fact that meeting occurred could have spooked the market. The firm he used for the investment used an algorithm which initiated the trade.
 
Even if it was blatant "insider trading" that's a crime ONLY if you are NOT a politician. They were exempt from those rules until the recent scandal. It doesn't say much about the politician himself, all of them have enriched themselves and this is just one of the many ways.

But hey, if you want to get into a "who engages in insider trading and uses their position in Congress to enrich themselves" argument... :) that is a discussion we can have.
 
The worse Ryan looks, the better. Mitt Romney will ruin this country and meanwhile Gary Johnson is struggling to even get on the bill and Ron Paul is being bullied out. Its all very wrong if you ask me.
