Gabby Douglas ready to go for more gold

Phelps is getting alot of well deserved attention, hes achieved greatness and deserves to be heralded.

This young lady has captured my attention...her smile brightens up everything near it...I watched her win the gold and I jumped off the chair...I dont know what it is about Gabby but she just grabbed me and made me one of her biggest fans....She is obviously a really nice kid..




After seemingly all of Hollywood tweeted her congratulations, after an online debate raged on about her hair, after she landed on the cover of Kellogg's Corn Flakes cereal box, and after the president of the United States praised her in his weekly address, Gabby Douglas is back for more gold.

With two gold medals already around her neck in the team and individual all-around, Douglas has a chance to add two more medals, competing in uneven bars Monday and balance beam on Tuesday. But, with all the star-gazing, will Douglas be focused?

The USA has amazing depth. At least two other Americans had a great chance at the all-around before the games began but Gabby did it when it counted. The womens all around title is golden in more ways than one. She should get a great payday out of it.

As long as she doesn't land on her ass like Maroney did yesterday...

Well the kid kind of fumbled today...I wanted her to win bigtime...but hey she has two golds that is a tremendous accomplishment given the talent she was up against on her own team....
What pisses me off is the comments about the kids hair...she asked a reporter whats wrong with my hair...I would have loved to scream NOTHING IS WRONG WITH YOUR HAIR its the brains they dont have thats wrong...
