WATCH: Police Clash With Protesters in Anaheim

You measure police brutality by the number of persons dead?

When it comes to people engaged in crime or civil disobedience, YUP!!!!

Look up Wiki or your own source for the definition of Police Brutality.

I don't need to look anything up. I know what my definition of the term is quite well already, thank you very much.

There's no excuse for breaking the law, not on the part of the police or the protesters.

People who engage in civil disobedience should know that they will be arrested, tried, convicted, and punished. It's an extreme statement of protest, but there should be no expectation of leniency.

Having said that, is there even any need any more to point out that the whole post-racial America thing is just not working out?

Sounds like the protestors started it and the cops just finished it. Never start a fight you aren't both willing and capable of winning.

For those of you that do not recognize it the quote here is called "common sense". When our police (you know the folks we call when someone is being raped, beaten and kidnapped) do a wrong go after them legally. Why trash your own town destroying other people's property? Recall the Los Angelas riots where the blacks burned their own neighborhoods down leaving some folks homeless. "Don't bring a knife to a gunfight".

You are ignoring the reason for the protest. One of their fellow citizens was executed by these cops. That is why they were gathering. They were protesting police brutality. If ever a police force was in a position where moderation was demanded, it was this situation just because of the reason for the protest. They reinforced their image as the bad guys with their brutal response. I expect a great deal more from police. They're well paid babysitters who shouldn't have guns. That is, unless they can prove that they actually have brains and I don't think that is a occupational requirement.

When someone tries to break in to your home please call one of the protestors insead of a cop. Trust me, it's the right thing to do.

Actually it's called SELF-PRESERVATION. You should never start an altercation that you don't have both the ability and the willingness to do whatever's necessary to win. Whether it's a political race, a court case, or a fistfight. Doing so simply leaves you extremely vulnerable to getting your ass kicked in one way or another.

Give me the number.

I wouldn't call the Anahiem cops to referee a dogfight, so you do offer a viable solution. From what I am reading and the videos, the protestors are justified in protesting. Protesting defined as bringing attention to a brutal police presence in their neighborhoods. The police trying to buy the videos speaks volumes, don't you think?
