UN Arms Treaty could put US gun owners in foreign sights, say critics

Actually, from what I understand Hillary is more in line with the signature, haven't heard Obama's stance on it but given some of the writings of himself and more concerning those of his appointees it is troubling.

Yeah, he was. There was a DNA match done on his known surviving relatives and it came up that the match has a specific set known to only Berbers and Eastern European Jews. He was a pale skin tone so the Berbers are probably out.

There is no reason to suppose that it will, since the resolution it will be based on specifically excludes it.

No, I suggest we protest the treaty long before it is put on paper. After it's written, it might just be too late.

I know you hate private gun ownership, so you are hoping the treaty will outlaw guns, however I'm not taking the chance that it won't.

There are already weapons trafficing laws in place. Why not just enforce those?

What I find funny is that people want a treaty signed because it's the U.N. without even asking questions. How many people would sign a dotted line and then ask for the details on a contract? That would be a very stupid thing to do on an individual level and possibly catastrophic on a national one.

Protest something before you even know what it is. You call that "due diligence"? The prudent thing would be to actually figure out what it says, and what it doesn't, before you pass any judgment at all.

We won't be able to find that out, since there's no way the UN will post the treaty prior to passage, for civilian approval.

Hence, diligence dictates that we oppose it, before it's even written.

Tsk Tsk. I already stated that DNA collection of known relatives showed that a specific set matched either the Berbers or Eastern European Jews. Hitler was most definitely white. Had you shown the full context you would see that I did in fact provide the information, of course you could look up the 2010 independent study that was featured in the Daily Telegraph if you don't believe me.
