He had a gun in his hand, and threatened to use it. This makes his crimes quite serious. I agree with you that his sentence is quite excessive, but I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. That's all I'm saying. It is one thing for me to side with the criminal when excessive force is used by the police, but it is quite another to go to bat for a career criminal whose career has been effectively and permanently ended. I won't do that. Are there problems with the system? Hell yes, but there are people who would better represent the injusice we see in the courts than this punk, and I would much rather reserve my anger against wrongful sentencing for someone who deserves this kind of support. Not this low life scum. let him rot. This punk should consider himself lucky that he isn't living during the times of Judge Roy Bean, and if he did, I still wouldn't shed a tear for him.

Dan he hurt no one, 162 yrs he has no prior record and all the ones that participated and snitched went free...errrr something stinks dude seriously. Im no mamby pamby with criminals...but taking all considerations that sentence is horrifically excessive and is a life sentence.
