Nope. Not one bit. Nor was it the first time. However, seriously, once you've read that silliness once, you know logic is lost and blinders for thier readers are on. So, there is no point in addressing the article, as the entire premise is so skewed as to make reasoned discussion impossible. It really is the sewer of political discourse.

This was just plain, old dumb. I cannot recall ever saying that those who seek higher educations are left(ists). But many of the people who teach at the university level are. My education is just fine. I have a masters degree is something that is not soft and squishy. Maybe that is why I am a senior engineering manager on a large program.

According to Beck himself, he is a recovering alcoholic. That means that he says he doesn't drink. As for drugs, I am not aware of any problem. But, that you do not know, but yet imply with a smear that he is in order to discredit his viewpoint, is text book Alensky, and totally disingenuous, it severely damages your own credibility to use such tactic.

First, I can tell you anything, doesn't mean it's true.

It's not a smear - it's a fact he abused drugs and alcohol.

Alinsky? As in Saul Alinsky? As in the radical leftist? Yeah, not a fan. However, the fact that you can't spell his name yet throw it out as an insult shows quite a bit about your character.

This goes to the heart of why it is so hard for many of you to connect the dots.

First off, I couldn't care any less about what you think of MY character, you, a supposed "Libertarian" whom uses far left tactics in furtherance of his argument, then the most you can say in rebuttal when asked if you have any proof of your assertion that we shouldn't believe what someone says because they are an alcoholic, and drug abuser, is to highlight my spelling of your hero?.....pfft! :roll:
