On WMAL’s The Chris Plante Show today a Michigan resident by the name of "Mike" called in to discuss how he had infiltrated a Michigan Union's organized bus convoy, en-route to vote in the Wisconsin recall election for Democrats.

The caller claimed that Michigan’s “Democrat Unions” had organized a convoy of 4 buses, filled with Michigan Democrats, with the intention of voting for Tom Barrett in the Wisconsin recall election.

Milwaukee County Dem Chair Sachin Chheda said that Walker supporters can't get through the day without "cheating."

“This latest lowlife sleaze comes on the heels of countless reports from around the state of various Republican dirty tricks on behalf of Walker," Chheda said in a statement. "For instance, reports surfaced last weekend that Walker supporters are paying homeowners to post Walker signs on their lawns."

No worries. I'm sure Eric Holder and his Justice department voting division are right on this. I'm sure that's why he sent his crack team of federal observers in. Unless...they're there to insure nobody stops the fraud.

I just heard reports on a WI radio station that there are reports of multiple people registering and voting today that are standing in line with their addresses written on index cards. I guess we are supposed to believe they are just too dumb to remember their own addresses so they could properly register.

J-Mac did you actually read the transcript of this phone call, I think this dude read a few too many spy novels and frankly I think he's lying out of his ass. I'll post the transcript here and outline some of the weirder things in it.

TRANSCRIPT:

CHRIS PLANTE, RADIO HOST:

Lets go to Mike... Mike. You're on the Chris Plante Show

CALLER MIKE:

Hey how ya doin' Chris.

PLANTE:

Hey I'm good.

CALLER MIKE:

I'm trying to be quiet... I'm actually on a bus. I'm from Michigan and I'm actually on a bus. Three other buses following us and we're on our way to Wisconsin. I'm not even a registered Democrat.

PLANTE:

...and what are you doin'? What are you going there for?

CALLER MIKE:

I'm gonna vote for Scott Walker...

PLANTE:

You're going to Michigan? You're going to Wisconsin from Michigan?

CALLER MIKE:

No, we're going to Wisconsin. We're from Michigan.

PLANTE:

Yes

CALLER MIKE:

It's four buses total.

PLANTE:

..uh huh..

CALLER MIKE:

We're going to Wisconsin. We're from Michigan. Right outside Detroit and... they got four buses up here, Chris. I dont know if they got other buses coming from other directions but it's four buses and we're going to Wisconsin to vote.

PLANTE:

..and you're going to Wisconsin to vote for? For Scott Walker?

CALLER MIKE:

..I'm voting for Scott Walker. I know most these people arent.but I'm actually...

PLANTE:

Now, wait a minute, now wait just a minute. You're going, you're on a bus. in a convoy of four buses. You left the Detroit area. The convoy of four buses is headed to Wisconsin to vote. Now who organized this little foray?

CALLER MIKE:

Chris, I'm not even sure. I just heard about it and I jumped on the bus. I'm talking low key cause' I guarantee that if these people knew my intentions..man I'd be killed.

PLANTE:

You're on a bus full of people going from Michigan to Wisconsin and you believe that most of the people on the bus..other than yourself..you believe that ALL of the people other than yourself are going there to vote for Tom Barrett

CALLER MIKE:

Most of them are Democrat..it's a Democratic union..its actually a Democratic union organized by Democrats. But I'm not goin on there to vote for the Democrat. I'm going on there to vote for Scott Walker. Once I heard about it I- I was thinking, hey..this is an opportunity to sabotage what they always do to Republicans.

PLANTE:

But you're all alone on this bus whispering into your cell phone

CALLER MIKE:

Well I dont know if theres other people with my intentions but I know most of these people..most of these people..their intentions are to go vote for Democrats. I mean I know why people vote for Democrats, man they give out all kinds of free stuff Chris!

PLANTE:

Well thats the plan. Now, let me ask you this because this is a very interesting and very curious telephone call. How are you listening to the show?

CALLER MIKE:

No. I drive tractor trailer. I told you..I drive tractor trailer and I know your number. I'm always in DC, Virginia, Artisan area. I'm always in that area. I deliver out near 27 up there near the Pentagon

PLANTE:

Alright and how did you hear about this convoy of buses going to Wisconsin?

CALLER MIKE:

Because I live in that area. I live right outside of Detroit

PLANTE:

But how did you personally get wind of this convoy?

CALLER MIKE:

Lets just say my uncle works for a union out here, at the Chrysler plant.

PLANTE:

And is it a United Auto Workers convoy?

CALLER MIKE:

I mean their not really..their not really like labeling who they are but it is uh..it is the auto union..it is a union but their not labeling EXACTLY who they are

PLANTE:

Okay and these four buses, do they have any obvious markings on them? Are they Greyhound buses? Are they marked in some way?

CALLER MIKE:

They're just charter buses

PLANTE:

They're just charter buses...

CALLER MIKE

They're big, black with gray lines on the side. Charter buses.

PLANTE:

Alright, what you're telling me is the Unions in Michigan have organized a bus convoy and you're riding in that bus convoy and they're bringing Michigan residents to Wisconsin in order to vote illegally for Tom Barrett?

CALLER MIKE:

Well, when the Democrats do it, its not illegal, Chris. They treat me to lunch!

PLANTE:

And you get lunch?!

CALLER MIKE:

They have alot freebies on this... alot of freebies with this deal. Alot of freebies.

PLANTE:

And the unions are busing people in from Michigan to vote in Wisconsin and everybody knows that they're there to vote illegally?

CALLER MIKE:

That's the intention. That's exactly the intention. The election

PLANTE:

And have they told where you are going? Are you going to Milwaukee? Kenosha? Do you know where are you going?

CALLER MIKE:

I'm really not sure, I don't think we're going all the way to Milwaukee, I'm not sure we're going that far in. But, I could find you what town and call you right back.

Ok first off what is what all the overdramatics? "I'd be killed" or "I'm going to sabatoge" "Lets just say my uncle..." plus he's apparently whispering into his cellphone this dude has way too big of an opinion about himself.
And Why does this guy keep changing his answers too? When asked who organized it he says he doesn't know then says "t's a Democratic union..its actually a Democratic union organized by Democrats." Or first how its a "Democratic union organized by democrats" then its an "auto union."

Then to top it off, he admits he's going to commit voter fraud as well but its OK because he's voting Republican!

Is this a joke? Seriously? I mean busing in people from out of state to vote in a state election is voter fraud, no doubt about it, but this guy's story about his spy trip is pure ridiculousness.

Wait, did you just dismiss and demean pre-emptive accusations of voting fraud, and then proceed to post an alleged and completely unsubstantiated "eyewitness account" of voter fraud in the exact same post?

HAHAH ok.. this thread FAILS..

Should be easy enough to confirm. Perhaps Plante can put his viewers in the area on it. If it's true that needs to come out. Same if it's not.

Your name is either on the voting list or you have to register to vote. If you have to register to vote in Wisconsin you have to either show proper ID or provide a current bill showing that you are a current resident in Wisconsin. If you are already a registered resident of Wisconsin you can simply tell them your name and they will give you a ballot. This is totally bogus.

False.

Wisconsin’s new voter ID law won’t apply to the recall election against Gov. Scott Walker, according to two appeals court rulings this week.

An opinion released Thursday said there was “no realistic possibility” that the legal wrangling over the controversial law would be decided before the June 5 election, reports the Milwaukee-Wisconsin Journal Sentinel.

No, that's one of the ways the dead vote. The party knows who those dead "voters" are, and where they're registered. As you mention, if you're already registered, you give them your name and you get a ballot. Bus in a bumch of people, tell them who to be, drop them at the right polling place, and whammo, the dead get a say.

It's an old trick that goes all the way back to the democrats of Tammany Hall, refined by the Chicago democrat machine.

You should wait until the chickens have hatched before counting them.

In what might offer a hint of the outcome, CNN reported the following from exit polls:

The electorate was also divided along their opinions of the collective bargaining limitations, with 48% disapproving and 50% approving.

Exit polls show close Wisconsin recall race – CNN Political Ticker - CNN.com Blogs

If the collective bargaining issue was the major issue of the race, this exit poll could suggest a narrow victory for Governor Walker. Factors such as the improved fiscal situation in Wisconsin and increasing employment could also favor Walker.

I see. When Republicans whine through Fox Nation it's serious business... but when the dems bitch about GOP shenanigans as usual during elections... that's to be ignored. Gotcha.

You are wrong. You need to show ID to register, and you can't vote without registration.

NOTE: Proof of residency is required for voter registration and must be current and valid. The purpose of the proof of residency document is to establish the voter’s current address, not to prove that the voter complies with the 28 consecutive day residency requirement. The voter’s sworn statement on the registration form that they meet the 28-day requirement shall be presumed to be true unless the inspector or a challenger has first-hand knowledge sufficient to question the certification.

What dirty tricks? The trick that wouldn't work that "Mike" says is happening?

That's correct Deuce, but do you see the huge gaping hole in the ID process there? What if the registrant, who showed their ID at registration as required, dies. Takes the state a long time to notice death certs. The political parties have access to all that info. How easy is it for the dead to vote under that circumstance?

So you think Romney is going to outraise funds compared to Obama? I don't think so.

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker vastly out-raised and outspent his Democratic challenger in the state's recall election, largely on the strength of major donations from across the country.

One reason for that was a quirk in Wisconsin law, which lets a governor in Walker's situation bypass limits on political donations.

Wisconsin law says candidates for governor normally may not take donations of more than $10,000 each. That was the limit under which Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, the Democrat, operated in the recall election being decided Tuesday at the polls.

But as governor, Walker had a different set of rules. A somewhat obscure state law passed in 1987 says that when a governor is facing a recall challenge, the normal donation limits are suspended for "the payment of legal fees and other expenses."

"What doesn't qualify for 'other expenses'? Not much," says Bill Lueders, who directs the Money and Politics Project at the Wisconsin Center for Investigative Journalism.

For months, Lueders has been combing through campaign laws, financial disclosures, expense reports and other primary documents.

"Tom Barrett does have to abide by this $10,000 limit on individual contributions [and] he has gotten, as of today, 26 contributions of $10,000," Lueders says.

But Walker had more than four times the number of $10,000 contributions as Barrett, he says, and because Walker didn't have to abide by that limit at all, he raised 111 contributions of more than $10,000 each — largely from outside of Wisconsin.

"Fifty-nine percent of his overall contributions come from people in other states," Lueders says.

Where are the political parties getting an up-to-the-day list of people who have died in between their registration and election day, and why doesn't the state have this information?
