I could give a more detailed response to the OP if they showed pictures of the people involved. I need to know the degree each one looks like he could be related to me. Then I can decide who, from my perspective, is in the right and wrong. That is what matters according to the president, isn't it?

Jeez, that is all I have to say. But wait!! You are right. This IS Obama's fault. Obama is racist. This is all about the black man's inhumanity to white people. White people have been relentlessly picked on by black people for centuries. From stealing rides from Africa to America on white people's boats, to occupying white people's plantations, to occupying white people's nooses in the 1950's (Damn, how dare they do that to those sweet guys who's only crime was to dress up every day like it is Halloween and light bonfires to keep themselves warm), black people have been oppressing white people. And today, black people are ruthlessly interfering with white people's wishes to be left alone, by interfering in white people's decisions to make their own decisions on who can vote and who can't. This is just shameful. Black people are now invading our nice white neighborhoods, our beautiful lily white country clubs, and black people are even usurping the right of white people to look ridiculous, by appearing on Dancing With the Stars. And now, we have a black president who is inciting black people to "kill whitey".

There is only one way fight back against this invasion and victimization of white personhood by black people. White people must go golfing. It's the only way to reclaim our heritage. Why do white people go golfing? So they can dress up like black people. So if enough white people go golfing, then it will lead to total confusion, and nobody will be able to tell white people from black people. Then all we have to do is say "Look, everybody is white, so where is this so-called race problem you keep talking about?".

indeed, if this guy had gotten the upper hand, he would have been justified in beating one of the attacker's head into the pavement, as an act of self-defense.

but then, the attacker could pull out a gun and shoot him to death.

Terrible situation... good thing the police are on top of it and making arrest.

Because the law is acting as it should, this has nothing to do with the Travyon Martin death.

Maybe it does and maybe it doesn't. The USA is becoming more polarized along racial lines and it is exactly the handling of the Martin case which is bringing on extremes. Many have already been schooled in the injustices of the past and carry a chip on their shoulders. The Martin case is fuel on an already lit fire which fuels incidents like these. Denying it is nonsense.

I would expect some consistency from Washington. If they dispatched the DOJ or hate crimes division and if the President spoke out about TM, I expect the same in other situations, but of course there is no political advantage to this one, is there?

Its pretty funny how some folks here are whining that the DOJ hasn't stepped into this case, while they did with the killing of Trayvon Martin.

....as if the two cases are in any way similar.

Days after the beating (not killing) of the white man, the perps are being searched for and charges will certainly be coming.

Meanwhile, it took the DA two months to finally decide to charge Zimmerman, and only after a MASS outcry.

clearly, to compare these to cases, is willful dishonesty.

Why would they investigate "this one" if the people who committed it are expected to be arrested? There isn't even anything to investigate.

This thread is so ****ing stupid. This country is so ****ing screwed if this is the kind of logic people are using.

Listen to yourself.. a mob attack like that in SC would be charged as a "lynching".. Have any of the mob been given a pass?

One supposedly in the mod said this was justice for TM, but it is not being considered a hate crime???
