Your response is standard for those that want to turn a blind eye and give in without doing anything concrete. We can agree on the better guest program.
You most likely won't like this, but here it goes.
Do what ever it takes to eliminate the "birth right" of a child of illegal parents born in the US.
Find a way to address the illegal alien crossing and continue to slow the influx of illegal aliens across the US borders.
Improve the guest worker (migrant) program,
Increase penalities to companies and illegal workers who do not follow immigrant worker laws.
Allow States to play a greater law in assisting the Feds in controlling the influx of illegal aliens.

Reimburse the States/county/local LE and medical facilities for all costs incured dealing with illegal aliens. (especially if illegal the feds continue with the stance of illegal immigration is only a federal domain issue).
