Politics Obama administration points to rise in GSA costs under Bush amid conference

Re: White House points finger at Bush administration for GSA debacle

I'm comfused. How is this statement applicable to anything that I said?

You said, "My problem with Obama on this is he, like he does with everything negative, is he deflected the blame. He does not seem capable of accepting responsibility for anything."

I said, "You know he's running for reelection, right?"

You don't see any connection? You're not familiar with the fact that politicians running for reelection generally try to emphasize their accomplishments and minimize their failures?

Re: White House points finger at Bush administration for GSA debacle

what does it solve by doing so? what purpose does it serve? Please, explain.

You don't think telling the truth is its own reward?

What purpose does this thread serve? Is it going to fix the problem?

So you are now admitting this was an Obama failure? PROGRESS! PROGRESS! I says! kudos to you!

truthful or not, it's as irrellevant as posting you had mexican for dinner last night. once again you duck the question.

What purpose does this thread serve? Is it going to fix the problem?

More irrelevant musings! What purpose does your "well bush did it too! neenner neener" posts serve? Why did you post it. No deflection now. why?

It serves exactly the same purpose as your "Obama had a clown party!!" posts.

Nor do I think it's in any way irrelevant. The common wingnut line is that Obama is the worst human being EVER!! Whether that determination is based on objective reason or partisan bull**** can often be determined by examining whether or not the speaker gives a damn that the exact same sort of thing went on when their team was in charge. Capiche?

dunno what you are talking about. Again, irrellevant.

oh so, you are making excuses for obama by speculating what other posters thought about past presidents inaction.... I see, baseless as usual.

So do you really think that makes it ok for them to do it? I am not sure if you are actually endorsing this deflection. Personally I think that politicians should be accepting responsiblity for what they do.

Wait, did you finally accept and acknowledge that is a failure of Obamas?

Re: White House points finger at Bush administration for GSA debacle

The media is acting like an asshole, Don't be like the media, brother, We are better than that.

I don't care what Obama calls himself.... I am 3/4 irish, 1/4 English... I identify with my irish heritage due to language and upbringing. Obama Identifies with his african roots because he grew up as for all intensive purposes a black man. His skin color, does not scream "white" to society. I see nothing wrong with Obama identifying with his African-american roots.

1/4 English and 3/4 Irish only means you speak very politely during a bar brawl.

I never denied that it was a screw up by his administration. Nor have I ever claimed that he's above politics.

The comparison has to do with the people making the complaint -- not the complainee.

so it's a deflection by going after posters for speculation of a lack of outrage of the previous administration..... Bush isn't the president anymore, I think it's time for you and the obama to move on.

Re: White House points finger at Bush administration for GSA debacle

So Bush was president in May 2010?

LOL, you people are beyond pathetic.

You have to understand that Adam is always spouting lies and/or false facts on other threads such as Obama's auto bailouts saved MILLIONS and MILLIONS of jobs or that the effect of the stimulous caused 23 consecutive months of job growth.

Questioning the credibility of the comlaint is not a deflection.

Re: Politics Obama administration points to rise in GSA costs under Bush amid confere

No freakin' wonder you are on ignore...you actually equate the "Obama Administration"...with the man?

Thank you for accidentally expressing the very ignorance I posted about, priceless.
Amazing

How can you claim that's he's on ignore when you keep responding to him with your constant dribble?

"I sometimes wonder if some people think Obama has superpowers and is somehow able to watch everything that happens in Government, control gas prices, stop the worldwide economic problems, Invent some new energy source, and tell the bad guys to stop bein' bad."

Amazing

Because Obama made some some highly bold claims while campaigning.

Re: White House points finger at Bush administration for GSA debacle

What you missed is that it happened under both Obama and Bush's watch, but of course one isn't permitted to point that out.

But once again -- it was a **** up, it's being dealth with. It should have been dealt with sooner.

And . . . . . . this thread is about the GSA throwing a grand ole time on the taxpayers dime on President Obama's watch.

Now if you want to start a thread about the GSA 'ner-do-wells' under President Bush's admin, although I'm sure everything including his bathroom routine has been brought to light and condemned, I'll visit and read what you've written.

Exactly what is it in GWB's bathroom routine has been condemned by the Libs?

I'm sure that if the Libbys knew something about his routine, they'd have something negative to say about. They've condemned him for everything else, maybe they missed this are.

But if anyone would know it would be Adam T since he seems to know everything else in President Bush's past. :)

Perhaps the Adam condemns Bush for killing too many trees by using too much toilet paper or maybe Bush is wasting water by not letting the yellow mellow.

All are good possibilities. Don't give them any ammo.

Really? You better check the thread title again.

Well I am sorry about not bashing Bush more for the GSA partiers, rappers, etc. I guess I just got off subject because . . . . . Bush is not the President anymore and the aforementioned "glad time had by all" is currently in the news. I should have guessed it was time to drag out the old chestnut "Bush did it". Many pardons.

Don't apologize to me -- I didn't start the thread.
