U.S. Defines Its Demands for New Round of Talks With Iran

Stunning rebuttal as always.

I do respect your opinion..... but may the Iranian Regime be taught a lesson they will never forget.

This is a bad move by Obama. As I recall, he properly criticized the Bush administration for setting up bogus preconditions to negotiations. It's a bit like setting up a precondition for a negotiation over the price of a new car by saying, "first, you agree to sell me the the car at the price I'm asking, then we'll negotiate."

As long as you don't have to go over there yourself, right?

I have too many military friends to cheer for another freaking war.

AHHHHHH :scared:a

If the Soviets get a bomb we are ****ed!
If the North Koreans get a bomb we are ****ed!
If the Pakistanis get a bomb we are ****ed!
The Iraqis have WMD's! They are going to shoot them at Israeli!
Now its if the Iranians get a bomb we are ****ed!
Remember this shocking story that came out?: U.S. and allies agree: Iran does not have a nuclear bomb, may not want one and is far from building one | News | National Post

Stop being fed the bull**** fear that makes you wanna fall in line.. Just how Iraq played out this is how they are trying to make this play out.

They are demanding the immediate closing and ultimate dismantling of a recently completed nuclear facility deep under a mountain, they are also calling for a halt in the production of uranium fuel . This negotiating position will be the opening move in what President Obama has called Iran’s “last chance” to resolve its nuclear confrontation with the United Nations and the West diplomatically.

This is going to be interesting!

Without meaningful leverage, it is unlikely that Iran will meet such a request. To date, there's still no agreement among the international community to bar purchases of Iranian oil. There's also no evidence that the U.S. is willing to offer Russia or China a quid-pro-quo to help make such terms feasible. My worry is that this latest demand will again be viewed by the Iranian government as largely empty posturing. If so, Iran will essentially maintain its current nuclear course while using talks and cosmetic concessions to consume additional time.
