We are getting to the point that white cops can't pull over or arrest black people. Anytime a white person in authority interacts with someone of color it seems they are screaming racism or investigating it or something.

Yeah, sounds like your driving is as bad as your movies, P.

STFU and get over it. What, you can't afford a $55 ticket?

Wow! Perry's just being a child. You did something illegal. Pay the fine.

I'm Tyler P dammit. How dare the cops pull me over.

Seems to me he was just mad because the cops didn't know who he was and didn't let him go because he is a "celebrity". Spoiled brat who thinks he is more famous than he really is

.... who cares? Does Oscar make a thread every time Paris Hilton gets pulled over for a DUI?

Exactly. Moreover, how many other celebrities get pulled over and make excuses? How many PEOPLE get pulled over and make excuses? Why start a thread for Tyler Perry? What's so special about him?

Tyler Perry Pulled Over, Accuses White Cops of Racial Profiling via Facebook | Reuters

Despite the fact that he broke the law by making an illegal left turn from the far right lane and having his passenger side windows tinted, Tyler Perry still squeals racial profiling when the cops pull him over. Hint for you Tyler, you got stopped because you broke the law, not because you are black

Oh so you witnessed this? Because we all know racial profiling never happens. Oh wait.

So the truth is you don't know what really happened and you are assuming you do?

I would if she cried like a baby and squealed "profiling"

Didn't even bother to read the article did we? Just knee-jerked in with baseless assumptions. Perry admitted he made the illegal turn and there was a non-white witness who said he appeared confused and was uncooperative with the cops.

Next time get the facts before you run in spouting nonsense. It makes you look stupid

Except for all the times they are. I get that you think Taylor Perry is being stupid here, but this isn't a problem of white police being unable to arrest black people don't overreact and say something completely over the top and ridiculous.

Does she scream that the only reason she was pulled over is because she's blonde? Or a woman? Not even Paris Hilton does that..... huh.....

post what? I made no claim, only that I bet she does.

Betting she does IS a claim... no one can be that obtusely contradictory on purpose.

After a while nobody is going to care. Boy who cried wolf much?

I read the article. Spare me the condescending tude. You still didn't see what happened. You have no clue how the cops treated Perry. Two white cops (in the south no less) see a black man make an illegal turn. Ok fine...then the one cops starts on the tinted window...funny why do you think they backed off? If they were so righteous, then give him a ticket. Seems a little odd.

That said, I wouldn't pretend to know all the facts like you do. It makes you look ________. Fill in the blanks.

FWIW, they let him go without giving him a ticket for either of his violations. And he still goes out and cries about being profiled.

1. Admits he made an illegal turn

2. Was driving a car with tinted windows (so the cops had no way of knowing the race of the driver)

3. Still claims that he was stopped because he was black.

I guess he assumes that cops think only black people drive cars with tinted windows.

Isn't he guilty of "profiling" or "stereotyping" the cops who pulled him over?

Stupid part is they actually launched an investigation over this. If i wer those cops, i'd sue the department for harassment.

Why are we trying to make something bigger out of this than it is? Remove race from the issue and its just a guy getting pulled over whos pissed, who cares

Still don't get it huh? The cops saw a CAR make an illegal turn. The windows were tinted so they could not see the driver.

The problem is by crying "profiling", Perry was trying to make it about race. Instead of being a man about it and admitting he was 1. pissed because he got pulled over and 2. Upset because the cops didn't recognize him as a "celebrity"
