Tyler Perry Pulled Over, Accuses White Cops of Racial Profiling via Facebook

sure glad that embarrassing moment did not make it to the media

Of course it didn't. The only make it into the media when it's black celebrities claiming racism. Or whatever other ridiculous **** muciti is claiming now.

The cops claim that is the case. Have you inspected the car? Do you hear the conversation between the cops and Perry?

Still don't get it do you?

Saw the car on TMZ, windows are tinted. Read the EYEWITNESS report. Why is it so hard for you to accept that Perry was pulled over because he broke the law?

racial profiling is real.

mistreatment of blacks by police, because they are black, is real.

that's the first thing we all must accept.

Oscar doesn't think so. Alabama has no history of racial profiling, lynchings or racism. So he's completely oblivious to such things. ;)

From the OP link:

"But then a second police cruiser pulled up, and a black Atlanta policeman emerged. "He took one look at me and had that 'Oh No' look on his face," Perry recounted.

So does Perry expect special treatment because of who he is? He admits he made an illegal left turn.

Once again, you prove that facts don't matter to you. You assume you have them. Point of fact, tinted windows are NOT illegal in Atlanta.

The degree to which windows are tinted can be illegal. I realize that this rather "glaring" difference is beyond your limited "vision". Pun intended.

Georgia Department of Public Safety - House Bill Restores Georgia's Window Tint Law

Have you seen the car? The windows are tinted so dark you cannot see inside. But hey, thanks for playing

black drivers sometimes break driving laws.
not all minority drivers who break laws are racial profiled.
not all mintory drivers are mistreated by LE.

I will not accept your statement. Your statements as written is could lead one to believe you are saying all blacks are mistreated/profiled.

Are their bigots/racists/etc. in the world. Yes, and they are made up of all races/ethnic groups.

It is a poor excuse to claim profiling when the subject admits he made an illegal turn.

all true
except they did NOT apply in the tyler perry incident
it was not possible to profile someone based on race if you cannot see what race they are thru the vehicle's tinted windows

Atlanta Tinted Windows Defense Attorneys | Atlanta Traffic Violation Attorneys | AtlantaTicketFighters.com

Many drivers in Atlanta have tinted windows. Depending on your level of tint, you could be breaking the law. Because having illegally tinted windows in Atlanta is not a moving violation, you will not receive points against your license. However, the fines for tinted window in Atlanta can be high, depending on the court. Additionally, excessively tinted windows can lead to a traffic stop that can lead to the discovery of other more serious offenses. If you’ve been pulled over because of tinted window and are facing any charge, call the attorneys at the Atlanta Ticket Fighters.

Again with the ignorance. I have never said that racial profiling wasn't real. The point that people like you and thunder refuse to admit is thar not every claim of profiling is true. As much as you would like it to be, claiming racial profiling is not an automatic "get out of jail free" card.

In this case, it is clear that Perry was not profiled. Go to TMZ and look at the car for yourself, no way you could tell the race of the driver thru the tint. Unless you care to stereotpye that cops automatically assume that any car with tinted windows is driven by a black person.

Oscar, while Perry was being a dumbass and deserved what he had coming to him, I find it hard to believe you expect racial profiling to exist with white people in this country. It isn't South Africa where the minority was in control of the majority.

Really? I was profiled in columbus ga because i was a white guy driving thru a black neighborhood at 5:45 in the morning

and are you saying you know the truth? Please enlighten us. How do you know Perry was profiled. Were you a witness?

You do realize that was my point all along? I wasn't the one makes concrete claims. For all I know Perry could be guilty as charged. But you see I don't know. Unlike the OP who speaks as if he does and doesn't get why someone would call him out for it.

I say we let it go to court and see what the judge/jury determines.

Unless Perry sues that won't happen since no ticket was given.

Yeah... Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, Charlie Sheen, never make the news to this extent.... I could go on but your whole statement is so ridiculous I'd rather not get dirty.

Lindsay Lohan said she was being racially profiled?
Britney Spears said she was being racially profiled?
Paris Hilton said she was being racially profiled?
Charlie Sheen said he was being racially profiled?

You are still ignoring Oscar's point, purposefully in fact.

So because there was racial profiling in a certain area, we must always assume the person who claimed others were profiling them was right until proved wrong?

How about folks claiming profiling be required to start showing proof beyond their personal suggestions that someone is profiling them.

Im sick of the ****ing excuses.

Such a simple freakin concept, and yet one that several people here just can't seem to understand

Oh you mean like the concept of getting all the facts before assuming one knows what really happened? THAT concept?

Can't blame the cops for doing their jobs.

Can't really blame Tyler Perry for the natural psychological consequences of generations worth of racism either.

We are basically only 40 years from black people finally being treated as equals in this country. I don't think it's all that unexpected or unreasonable for black people to continue to be a little paranoid about it. Rather than attacking Perry, people should point out in a reasoned manner why this was not an incident of racial profiling.

No the concept that you offer up nothing but excuses, but we all know what excuses are like.

No. People should attack Perry.

Its time black society put that **** to rest unless they can show some evidence besides the famous "I JUST KNOW!!!!!"

Spoken like a 50s cop from North Carolina. ;)

This type of attitude is only likely to exacerbate the problem.
