New Hampshire to vote on gay marriage repeal

Wrong as usual my left wing friend..........Holy Matrimony is the sacrament of marriage and you can't change it......

And that's a religious thing. You can't make it into law and subjugate the rest of us to it. As you are arguing for through the continued use of the Marriage License as a way to backdoor enforce your religious doctrine. Get rid of the Marriage License if you don't like it. But till that point, the Marriage License is government issued and recognized contract and you can't infringe upon the rights and liberties of one trying to exercise their right to contract.

She's absolutely correct Navy. :coffeepap

We shall see my Liberal friend, we shall see...........

Truth be told its very little about gay marriage....most gays could care less and just want the same benefits straights have..........I have no problem with that.........A few militant gays like you and a whole bunch of libs are pusshing the issue.......They want the gay lifestyle trated as a suitable alternative lifestyle...to teach our children this.................that will never happen.........The gay marriage thing is a sham...........

First I am not a militant homosexual. Second since I am trans and attracted to men I am not technically gay. Although you are right about wanting people to understand being gay is an ok way to live. We dont want to force people to believe that however. Also if your going to claim most gay people are ok with civil unions please back it up with something.

And you got it my gay friend..You have the same right I do.......you want a special right.......It ain't gonna happen.

Nice... ad hom again from you. You ought to stfu when you start typing as if you know someone because you always get it wrong. First you said I worshipped Obama because I thought he was a God... when I never voted for him and probably won't again then you call me gay, would surprise me and my wife if it were true. The funniest part is you calling anyone gay with "Navy" and "Pride" in your name. Two terms deeply rooted in the gay culture.

So continue with the ad homs son. The comedy factor is high.

Being human and a rather smart and compassionate one at that, I don't have to have issues effect me directly to know that it's wrong when it inversely effects others.

Only if your marriage is religious.

Mine isn't. Yet, I am still legally married.

And there are religions more than willing to unite two men or two women in Holy Matrimony. Also, completely legal for them to do so (whether the marriage is legally recognized by the state is something different than the actual union into Holy Matrimony).

Our government doesn't recognize Holy Matrimony, it recognizes marriage, legally entered into by signing a marriage license by both parties, someone authorized by the state to oversee the agreement, and (most places) at least one witness. No religion, Holy Matrimony, or any belief in a deity needed at all.

Wait, New Hampshire is liberal? New Hampshire, where we would buy things because of the lack of taxes is liberal? New Hampshire where their motto is Live Free or Die? The most liberal state that has voted for the Republican candidate 6 of the last 10 elections? Besides, I am not so sure they will vote for this bill, or that the Supreme Court will rule against gay marriage.

NH has changed a lot. There has been a lot of immigration from Mass. That has changed the demographics of the state significantly. And even in the days when it was a solid red state, it was one with a definate libertarian streak in it.

This coming from the guy who spent half a thread once talking about how he would love to marry one of his same sex friends just for the benefits of marriage.

You know better NP. Same sex marriage would give you just as much right to marry someone of the same sex as a gay person. The only reason you wouldn't want to is because you are straight. And once you acknowledge that, you are acknowledging that gays don't have the same rights as you when it comes to marriage.

Honestly, your parroting of rhetoric gets old.

I never tried to get it thrown out. Do you ever tire of the dishonesty you use to approach debate? Or is it just something you've accepted as part of your debate style?

Yeah but lefties of your ilk did and got their ass kicked by the SCOTUS.

Even if marriage and a civil union have the same exact rights they will still be unequal. However civil unions tend to have less rights then marriage does. And just to let you know marriage is older then Christianity and no the church does not own the word marriage.

Do you know who Adam and Eve are?

Holy is a religious term and you are not allowed to subjugate others to your religion. One of the foundations of the Republic pal.

And I don't want to I just don't want a few militant gays and a much of libs trying to change the meaning.....

And your married to a man.......Our gov. recognizes marriage as a union between a man and a woman and a huge majority of the states believe and there will be more in Nov. Gay marriage will sink like a rock.......

You don't own a trademark on the word marriage or matrimony.

I believe there is a law in this country defining marriage approved almost unanimously by the Senate and signed by President Clinton........Its called the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA)

You have the same rights I do......you want special rights............You want to change something that has been defined since Adam and Eve as a union between a man and a woman. That must never happen......Get you own name for it.......

Sorry Navy....but bigots don't have exclusive rights to a word

The "meaning" of the word was changed when the courts ruled that you cannot restrict marriage to two people of the same race. People were upset about that "change" as well. They got over it (well most did) and you will too. Get over it Navy. Marriage will be open to everyone very soon. You can choose to be an angry old man or you can live and let live. Its your choice.

Holy ****! Ikari is not just to the right of you, he is far to the right of you politically, my left wing socialist friend.

It was also the recipient of the Free State Movement where libertarians chose it to be the state for libertarians to move to so that they could have a state in their own image. Don't know how well that movement took off but...

What did I say about you trying to make personal posts as if you knew something about who you are posting about?
