Romney wins pivotal Michigan primary as well as Arizona

What's an "Obimbo"?
A derogatory name for the waste of flesh and oxygen currently inhabiting the Oval Office at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, DC.

Sparky, on a philosophical level I see no real difference between Barrack Hussein Obama and Willard Mitt Romney. There are two types of people in my philosophical world.... Conservatives and Everyone Else. I will not vote for ANYONE who falls into that Everyone Else category. That's why I so rarely vote for more than one or two candidates on any ballot; because nobody in any of the other races fits my criteria to vote for them.

There is no such thing as a Lesser Evil. There is only Good and Evil. If you don't meet the criteria for Good you're Evil by definition. Besides, I'd rather have someone I KNOW is my enemy 100% of the time in office than someone whose motives and actions I can't predict the quality of.

As a moderate independent, I wouldn't quite call Obama an evil enemy no matter how much I disagree with him, nevertheless, I can not deny that his agenda and his policies is a serious threat to the life I use to have and a way of life that I will nolonger have if he's given 4 more years and most likely a bigger threat to your views and beliefs as well and yes I do admit that I support a middleground government rather than either a far right or far left controlled government.

However, I still can't comprehend why any conservative would not at least look at the possible damage control that a Romney victory could bring no matter how moderate he is. How is knowing who your enemy is 100 % of the time and enabling this enemy for four more years of power less dangerous to conservatives than trying to minimize the potential damage?

I'm an Ultra-Conservative/Authoritarian Independent myself, so I would call Obama my enemy. The bigger of a threat Mr. Obama poses to my way of life, and the society this country was founded upon, the more likely it is that people will actually finally come out of their stupor and rise up against him and the government that he embraces.

Which would you rather be.... Shot in the head with a shotgun or stabbed in the back repeatedly with a knife? Either way you end up dead. That's the way many of us see the Obama/Romney dichotomy. Those additional four years are hopefully time to show more people how disgusting this government and the system that allows it are, and to move towards the sea change that is going to be necessary for this nation to ever even come close to returing to its proper roots.

One thing I haven't seen noted yet is props to the (D)'s in Michigan as they seemed to have largely ignored the extremist arguement to come out and vote for Santorum. People tend to forget that the overwhelming vast majority of the country actually has little in common with the extremists that get all the press.

The numbers show that you could have cancelled the entire election for all but one county in Michigan yesterday and still got the same result. Oakland County - one of the top ten richest counties in America with a large population of corporate employees and business people, gave a margin of victory to Romney of 30,000 votes. Statewide, Romeny won over Santorum by................. drum roll please .......................... 30,000 votes. In other words, both man ran even steven in the other 82 Michigan counties. Oakland County was the difference.

Which is why this country is going down the toilet quicker than last night's Taco Bell order.
