For those unfamiliar with Jason Whitlock, he is one of the preeminent sportswriters in the country. Why, I have no idea. He's mildly informative at best, and ALWAYS ready to pounce on white America at every turn.

Here's a quote from Whitlock after the Saints beat Peyton Manning and the Colts in the Super Bowl in 2009.

"In the biggest sporting event in the world, with a record number of people watching and on the game's most important play, a black defensive back outsmarted a beloved white quarterback."

Seriously, Jeremy Lin is a great story. He has worked his butt off and done everything the right way. He is humble and exemplifies everything that is great about America. This 'sportswriter' is not pre-eminent in my book and he simply confirmed his awful attitude in this tweet... simply disgusting...
 
I've had the misfortune of reading several of his articles, he's both obtuse and proudly misinformed, could find a klan member under every tree, bush and rock. His only draw is the humor of reading the rebuttals in the comments section.
