And now it turns out some of his top aids were actually lobbyists for Fannie and Freddie.

Top Romney advisers lobbied for Freddie Mac

And that he was a panelist at a Fannie Freddie conference?

Romney was 'distinguished panelist' at Fannie Mae conference

Hypocritical?

So Newt is bad for allowing them to pay him for advise, but Romney actually invested in them and advocated for them yet gets a pass? I'm really starting to not like this guy. Just seems so dishonest.

Well I try to take with a grain the things politicians do, as I know they're under a lot of pressure to win, and maybe was getting drawn in by the whole faithful husband thing. I now see Newt as a repentant sinner, and Romney as a self righteous twit, that really has no regard for the truth. I'll take the former any day.
