"These forces are elevating Rick Perry such that we may end up with a situation where all the energy, enthusiasm and numbers are behind him. It would not matter that the Republican establishment was behind Romney because that establishment no longer controls much. What matters is the entrepreneurial game of getting people and money. Perry seems to be doing pretty well at that."
Ya tell me why poll numbers matter again?
I've actually heard some people speculate that if Gingrich wins the nomination he would make Perry VP. It could be a decent strategy, since Perry could help Newt with the Evangelical vote.
A pro-illegal supporting a pro-amnesty for illegals candidate. Can't say that I am surprised.

Pro-illegal? Pro-amnesty?
It's called being realistic. What do you want to do... round up all the Mexicans and ship them back to Mexico?
Only a radical would think another amnesty is somehow a viable solution to combating illegal immigration after the failure of the 1986 Reagan amnesty. Its like saying "Hey!! Adding gas to the fire the first time didn't put it out but made it worse. So lets add more gas to try to put the fire out!".I don't think anyone but a radical could take a position like that.

Pretty sad when the best the GOP has to offer is Mitt.
Still better than Obama, and the progressive destruction of capitalism....

Perry's cause of death was a self-inflicted brainfart in debates.
Its extremely disappointing contest for Reps so far. A bunch of people that you and I have to reluctantly consider as the lesser of two evils come November.
Oh, I don't know....Santorum is interesting...But yeah, he probably doesn't have a shot.

The GOP agenda simply won't be able to push forward and the positions that form the foundation are going to be cut at, and disintegrated, and fact-checked, and out-debated with ease by Obama
