Exclusive: Gingrich Lacks Moral Character to Be President, Ex-Wife Says

?

I do not value marriage? What evidence do you have of that.

How many affairs has he had and how many would be approved by the Democrats these days?

The Democrats don't launch national investigations as to whether someone got a bj in the WH, like Republicans, because Reps are the "family values" party - except when it comes to their own, and when they are desperate, they, all of a sudden don't care about a man's personal life, how many women he exchanges DNA with while married to another.

Of course marriage is the key word and he is married to one woman.

He's "had" more than one woman during those marriages??

What "distinction" are you trying to make?

The left is getting all pervy about sex, again.

It would seem a reason to vote against Democrats is they appear intend to make adultery a criminal offense or a legal basis to be banned from holding public office, but ONLY if you got to a Christian church. What other sex-crimes are Democrats going to try to impose?

Yeah, that was really crappy by the Republicans.

Do you know what the ethics violation charge was? Why don't you explain it to us?
Maybe Romney should explain it?

The House imposed the penalty last year after Gingrich acknowledged he gave the ethics committee untrue information and failed to ensure that financing for two projects, including a college course he taught, would not violate federal tax laws. The penalty was to reimburse the ethics committee for added costs it attributed to investigating Gingrich's misleading statements.

His own Republican peers didn't want him in Congress.

Wiki:
He was disciplined in January 1997 by the House of Representatives for an ethics violation. Following a poor Republican showing in the 1998 Congressional election, Gingrich announced his resignation (taking effect on January 3, 1999) from the House on November 5, 1998, under pressure from his Republican colleagues.

I think the IRS later declared he was in the right legally, but I'd have to read up on it again.
The IRS cleared the foundation that aided his course not Gingrich, who was charged for lying and what it cost to investigate his lies.

If I am not mistaken, specifically it was that his lawyer lied and Gingrich was presumed the reason.

But that's curious, isn't it? It isn't that Gingrich did wrong but rather alleged he lied through his lawyer.

The ethical violation of lying?

I think that disqualified about 99% of politicians, doesn't it?

Exclusive: Gingrich Lacks Moral Character to Be President, Ex-Wife Says - Yahoo! News This could either be the case of an angry ex or a ****ty Gringrich. Given his history with wives, it's probably 40%-60%.
Do you have an Ex wife? Both of my ex wives claim I am a Werewolf combined with Ted Bundy. Ex Wives are funny that way, they'll say anything. "Heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned, Nor hell a fury like a woman scorned," spoken by Zara in Act III, Scene VIII.

I think character has a lot to do with it.

Let me focus on this....tidbit

When you do the right thing, you get judged once. Yeah! He/she did the right thing! When you screw up, you get judged twice. First for the screw up and second for how you handled it. In a lot of cases, you show more character by making a poor decision and then a really good one than you ever did if you never screwed up.

There has only been one perfect person. The rest of us make mistakes and therefore we can really appreciate it when someone owns up and does the hard thing after a screwup.

You have some links to back that up? From every account I have read, Gingrich has admitted his guilt.

But that's curious, isn't it? It isn't that Gingrich did wrong but rather alleged he lied through his lawyer.
If you give your lawyer the wrong information, it is still your fault. But, I don't think it was the lawyer that stood before the Ethics Committee.

The ethical violation of lying?
Yeah, lying is illegal when you are being questioned by a court, which is more less the same for the ethics Committee.

I think that disqualified about 99% of politicians, doesn't it?
How many politicians have to go up against the Ethics Committee?

Ha,ha, so you are telling me that Republicans have now pardoned Bill Clinton and will no longer hold his indiscretion against him?

When you do the wrong thing twice, it pretty much shows that you haven't changed. Newt has cheated on two wives, asked for a divorce from his first wife while she was in the hospital recovering from cancer, some say he did the same to his second wife. It's okay to forgive him and want him as your friend, but we don't need someone with that type of character as President. Maybe you do, that's fine, but don't expect the rest of the country to feel like you do.
