With Reservations, Obama Signs Act to Allow Detention of Citizens

Yes, and no one said you spend your own money on foolish things. But, you should have no claim to mine.
Society does indeed have a claim on a certain amount of your money (or services). You tacitly agree to that by becoming a member of society.

If you don't like that, then you should resign from society and relocate to a remote, unimproved area where you will not share in the benefits of society (and thereby become a freeloader... consuming, but not contributing). Something perhaps like an island, or an extremely remote desolate area devoid of roads, utilities, medicine, law enforcement, courts, and radio transmissions. It's only fair....

And it should be noted we have representation.

That sounds like fun. If only there was some sort of American Indiginous Law. Go live in a remote wilderness and be exempt from everything. I think I'd try to become a mountain man for a few years just to see if im strong/smart enough.

Yep, because that is what it is. Don't like your representative, vote for another one.

Or better yet, also get out and actively campaign for your representative of choice.

Oh we plan to....Then you'll hear the cries of the liberal left....Bank on it.

Good luck with that. However, you do concede the point, right? You are represented.
