Investigating Allegations of Recall Petition Fraud

MADISON, WI – The Government Accountability Board and the Wisconsin Department of Justice are working together with district attorneys around the state to investigate allegations of recall petition fraud and acts of aggression by or against people involved in the recall process.

From destruction of recall petitions to intimidation, which even includes death threats, Wisonsin authorities are taking very seriously what is happening in Wisconsin, and have set up a clearinghouse with the Department of Justice to process the complaints and route them to the proper authorities.

I believe that this is a good move that will result in severe punishment for those few who are attempting by force to stop the recall election there.

For the record, this is not the Republican party doing it. The GOP has strongly denounced these acts, which are being done by a few nutters, and is fully cooperating with the effort to stop these Nazi-like tactics against the citizens of the state. So please keep the hyperpartisan rhetoric against Republicans to yourself. Thank you.

There certainly are plenty of people of German ancestry in Wisconsin. Do you have an link to show any actually are Nazis?

Why "Nazi-like tactics?" Why not Stalin-like tactics or Mao-like tactics?

With any luck they'll link the acts of intimidation back to people funded by Koch Bros and we can lock those turkeys up.

As to the OP, I hope that they are successful in rooting out this tampering. With all the division we are experiencing today, should the election process be torn down, we are in big trouble. So whomever it is, I hope they are found, prosecuted, and jailed.

For whatever reasons, you and I are most likely on opposite sides of the recall election, but with your post, you and I have found common ground. Thanx for posting. Excellent post. :)
