"Competitive Shopping" Cited in Wal-Mart Pepper Spray Attack

Released her? The first thing I want to know is whether or not she has a LTC in California? If not, she's guilty of a FELONY simply for possessing the Pepper Spray. If she does, it should be revoked for misuse of a weapon. This wench ought to be sitting in a lock-up until the police department gets to the bottom of the story. If she refuses to talk, let her sit there and rot.

Dog and bear pepper spray is legal in 48 states, including California. California restricts cannister size to 2.5 ounces, no license required. One news release I read said the police are deciding whether or not she should be charged. What?? Well, it would seem she is claiming self-defense.

Only in America...

Some of those she allegedly injured were kids.

Yes, dog and bear spray is Legal FOR USE AGAINST DOGS AND BEARS. It is NOT legal for use against human beings, and I believe it would likely be classified the same way that misuse of regular OC/Pepper spray would..... $1000 fine and up to 3 years in prison.

As another example of barbarism, a 61-year old man collapsed in a Charleston Target, and most shoppers just stepped around and over him.
I was knocked down by a pair of rowdy children running in the aisles at WalMart. It was 10 minutes before anyone stopped to see if I was OK. Dozen just ignored me and moved on - including two employees. One of the many reasons I don't shop at WalMart.

I'm surprised about this happening in a Target. I have had their motorized scooters fail several times and other shoppers have always been willing to go get a store employee to bring another scooter.

Clear the aisle with pepper spraying,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Tis the season to be preying,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Don we now our assault rifles,
Fa la la, la la la, la la la.
We're a mass of homocidals,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

See the blazing guns before us,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Crowd's greedy and acrimonious.
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Follow me in mayhem making,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Being rude, wanton law breakin',
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Blackened eyes and broken bones,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Police sirens and meagphones,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Sing we joyous, all together,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Heedless of the bloody splatter,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

She doesn't need a license to carry pepper spray that is not greater than 2.5 oz. in California. I checked since I plan to buy pepper spray for self defense really soon here because I am going to have to take the trolley and/or buses late in the evening and at night to go to school til I get my driver's license.

She can be fined up to a $1000 or imprisoned for misuse of the pepper spray (along with hopefully other charges), but it would be because she used it without a reasonable belief that she or someone else was being threatened.

This right here is why I won't go into crowded places without a handgun on my person.

This right here is what gives gun owners a bad name.

I am all for the right for anyone to have a LTC, with proper training and certification, but those licensed shouldn't be so flippant with their comments. I am sure that Tigger wouldn't have used his weapon in this instance, but to suggest it at all is careless on their part. Having a LTC is one thing, but being a good representative means being aware of your words and actions.

It's mostly white people at Walmarts. Hmmm. Teabagger talking point going down the toilet?

LOL . . . so where do all the other poor people buy their cheap ****? If there's a better place to shop let me know 'cause I like not spending money :)

I just don't understand this at all.

The only thing worth fighting over is a new case of Hot Wheels and I didn't see that in any of the news stories.

A new Xbox, yeah right.

Freaking things are 6 years old at this point anyway.
