Exactly... which is why I can't believe this story, and not to mention why the hell she'd want to die for what he did. If my husband ripped a bunch of people off, I wouldn't feel so sorry for him I'd be willing to kill myself. **** that. I'd divorce his ass. I am not willing to die for my man ****ing up. lol

This whole suicide love pact kind of reminds me of Adolf and Ava for some reason.... I know it seems really inappropriate to say that, but I can't help but think it.
 
I guess we shouldn't pile on Bernie Madoff, he did his crime and got punished, even if it wasn't much of a punishment, and we can move on from the fraud. Personally, I don't understand the financial investing thing, and I think there is an element of greed in this, not just with Madoff alone. To me the stock market a shell game and I think it is. It doesn't create wealth, people are just trading pieces of paper trying to make money and money is not created or destroyed, so when one person makes money another person loses it in the market, correct me if I'm wrong. I'm thinking the whole financial system is a Ponzi scheme and when it crashes, it crashes like the recent Great Recession.

It's the loyalty of their wives... perhaps Ms Madoff knew of Bernie's genocide and supported it fully too and knew she'd alone be held responsible if he died.
