Gaddafi killed as Libya's revolt claims hometown

Really? Is this all you've got? Do you even comprehend how the world works?

FYI....we buddied up with Stalin at one time, too. Your boy, Obama, is pretty tight with Pakistan, the biggest creator of terrorists on the planet. Bush did, too, because that's the way it works.

Now Mubarak and Khaddafi are gone. They are NOTHING compared to the monsters about to take their place.

Are you an intelligence analyst? Who are these monsters about to take their place?

I was reserved for a little while because I didn't know if these were rumors - or having been confirmed - or what.

But obviously he's dead and I'm glad he's dead at the hands of the people rather than the end of a military gun - seems fitting to me.

wait what does that mean?

Word. Now the genocide can begin.

It will most likely go the way of Iran, though it's more comforting to be optimistic...

Many were supportive of the Shah being overthrown but look what we have there now. There is no reason to suppose that the same result won't hold true throughout the Middle East, with Iran eventually being the dominant force in the area.

Gadaffi may have been crazy but he wasn't stupid. He realized Muslims would eventually gain absolute control over the Middle East and Europe and there is general acceptance of that idea throughout the Islamic world.

They're not bashful about telling you that's the plan, are they?

Islamists are not liars, they will tell you what they plan to do to you.

You merely need to take them at their word.

Who Is The Rat Now MoFo:2razz:

If true, can't say I'm surprised that dictators talk **** on TV (fight to the last man, die like a martyr) and then whine like little bitches when they're about to die.

I am surprised he didn't try to get the hell out. I know, he didn't have many places to go... but looking back at everything, he was dead man when he decided to wage war and made that crazy speech starring at the sky. We all saw it coming except for him. Did he honestly think he was going to stay there and fight until the war turned in his favor? WTF. He had no chance, his own family left him there. His family and the whole bunch are sick for defending him while living safely on foreign soil as well.

I do take them at their word, and there is no reason not to believe them. There is also a substantial Fifth Column in a seriously weakened Europe.

I'm not as optimistic as some others.

When I heard the news, I turned on Fox to see what they were saying. They had long faces and seemed pained to have to report this is yet another feather in Obama's cap.

It's true this wouldn't have happened without his support. If the rebels had no support, the only history being made in Libya today would be very tragic.

The Muslim who shot up all those people at Ft Hood told us who he was.

The US government didn't believe him.

It wasn't that long ago that Cheney...the idiot....was claiming that Obama's Libya strategy was foolish and would be ineffective....and yet again I have to say that it only shows how much better this Administration's foreign policy is than the formers.

Obama didn't have a, "Libya strategy".

If there had been an actual, "strategy", perhaps there wouldn't have been 50 thousand casualties.

There's just not much for Obama to brag about on this one. He should stick to his, "I got Bin Laden", schtick.

Sore loser.

I hate Obama, I didn't vote for him, and I find him to be a tool, but I can recognize that his foreign policy regarding Libya was a huge success.

He went to the UN, got a resolution, got all the Arab countries behind them, and allowed the combined military force to handle it from afar rather than invading.

The result is it ended well and cost the United States less than what 3 days in Iraq costs us.

If you can't accept those results due to your pride, then that speaks of a major personal problem.

Try going back a few months and doing a little reading. Obama absolutely had a "Libya Strategy"....I know that you are not so naive as to believe that he didn't. He was criticized by Cheney and others from the party of NO over his Libya Strategy.

Sounds like just more sour grapes from people like you that are once again sad that their hero that liked to talk tough, yet accomplished nothing, got outdone by a man that they despise for getting results.

International assassinations are "results?"

Tell that to the Nobel Committe!

LOL....more sour grapes from someone who cannot stand that OBama has been successful where their hero could only talk tough, yet accomplished little.

You mean he shot hi profile suspects dead without the trials he berated Bush for not having?

That's your hero?

I really don't think it's a valid comparison either... The amount of commitment in Iraq is a hell of a lot more. Also, Bush invaded a foreign country and started a damn war. In Libya, we intervened after people from both political parties made arguments to prevent genocide and protect civilians. We didn't go in and start a war. The war was already being waged, and they were begging NATO for help.

And FTR, I won't name names, but I clearly remember certain posters here on DP pissing and crying about how Obama should intervene and do something... and then once he did, complete and total 180.

The fact is, if Obama did try to pull what Bush did in Iraq, the American public wouldn't have it.. and his ass would truly be out of office come '12. Americans don't want another Iraq War, and this isn't like the Iraq War.

Bush got the consent of Congress for both Iraq and Afghanistan. Obama is bombing and assassinating wherever the hell he wants.
