LAUSD Teacher Fired for Anti-Semitic Comment on Camera

Isn't the Zionist bankers/end the fed thing traditionally a FAR RIGHT thing?
And no, the movement is backing no politicians, no politicians are being allowed to glom on at this point.

Now if she said it right in front of him on live tv and he failed to do say anything about it?

THEN you'd have an accurate comparison to snivel about.
Nope...its a 'very' liberal, very common, pro Palestine thing.

She has an air tight, rock solid case for a suit against her employer, now. Her personal views, expressed while not at work, while not representing her employer, are her own business, and not, in any way, indicative of how she composes herself while on the job. She's gonna be rich.

You think she would have grounds for a lawsuit if she were white and complained about, "niggers collecting welfare"?

Will be interesting to see. I don't think she has an airtight anything. Here is the L.A. Times editorial opinion:

As execrable as her comments were, it might be a different matter if McAllister were, say, a Department of Motor Vehicles clerk. There, she would be dealing with adults who could hold their own, and would have little direct authority over them. It also might be different if she had expressed a controversial opinion that was not an inflammatory attack on a particular ethnic or religious group.

We're reluctant to restrict anyone's ability to express even the most
loathsome views openly and publicly. But when a teacher trumpets hateful opinions that could intimidate the impressionable young people she's supposed to be serving, that's not just free speech — it's a performance issue. In speaking out so intemperately, McAllister's ability to do her job was fatally compromised.

Only because LAUSD lawyers are ******s and they might pay her to shut up and go away.

But that's not the same as admission of wrongdoing.

I don't know any employer that has a free for all policy on political activity and even social media.

Or just get her job back and maybe some back pay...

If OWS is smart, it will sprout some leadership quickly and get in front of this by completely disavowing anti-semitism and rejecting support from any groups with even a whiff of questionable beliefs.

They never do that at liberal protests, and that's the difference between them and other organized protest movements... But I won't mention names.

mention names. By all means. How do we even know if you're correct if you don't?

I think you have a point in there: protests like these tend to turn into a venue for many different progressive (and also some idiotic) causes. They often lack focus and clarity of message, which is a big problem for left-leaning mass movements.
