[h=2]I feel like the owners of the Park chickened out and will use the cleanup operations protesters have embarked upon as the reason.
I personally believe the Park's owners are afraid of the riot that was sure break.
I also believe that some of the unwashed masses are hoping for a spark to set off riot to give these fools a chance to loot etc.

Maybe the park owners really only had the concerns that they stated. And when those concerns were addressed, maybe they actually were satisfied.

Of course there were concerend about a riot. As we've seen before there are always some professional protesters and anarchists in the crowd just waiting to break some windows and turn over some cars. I think they just showed good sense.

Bloomberg says the corporate owners are in discussions with OWS to set new ground-rules for the long-term occupation.

Let 'em protest.

This is the most effective - and cheapest - election gains the Republicans can possibly ask for.

These are truly pathetic people. This is what happens when you don't bother to raise your children.

Yeah, these brain addled, sweaty, unwashed, homosexual ridden, multi-cultural, lazy, aimless protesters certainly make me want to vote for Romney because...because...because he sure knows how to raise children.:screwy

Republicans will gain more votes because people are protesting on Wall Street?

not sure it was a 'big win'
they maintained a status quo, in that they were not displaced
was that a good thing?
how long will they last as cold weather intrudes itself? will the drive die out when the protesters (reasonably) seek shelter
would regrouping at a later date and a later time kill the movement?
will the potential "cleansing" of the assembly area/park and enforcement of new rules prohibiting encampments or even the possession of personal property or reclining on the lawn end the momentum
that some of the protesters were thwarted from moving on wall street this morning ... was that a 'big win'

we will have to wait and see how sustaining this movement can actually be
for me, it's a coin toss

Yeah, taking interest in the Republic and participating in our time honored tradition of protest and dissent certainly is a sign of poorly raised children.

No but the way they are going about it, they look like spoiled undisciplined little children that would have the government give than to go out and work you AZZ off.

Some may be. I do think there is a valid overall point to the protest, however. And that is protest against the corporate capitalist model we now find ourselves under.

Hmm....
Well, these poorly raised children have set up...
-Their own food tables
-First aid for the occasional injury (like tripping, police encounters, bomb shells)
-Their own website
-Their own news journal
-And probably more.
So I guess being poorly raised means you were taught to be responsible and organized. Glad I was poorly raised then.

And maybe if they put that effort into finding a job, or building a career, or making better products (etc) instead of whining about what someone else doesn't do for them they would bet better off.

Their whole mantra seems to be what will someone else do for me, not what I can do for myself.

I agree, these tools are astroturf.

We have enough cogs. We now need thinkers.

Then you are obviously getting their "mantra" from somebody other than them, because I don't really hear that coming from anywhere but the conservative media stream.

And maybe if you put effort into keeping up with the times, you would realize that the job market isn't faring all that well. These people ARE putting effort into finding jobs, building careers, and making better products. I hope you realize that their hard work isn't earning them enough. If they were to make millions off of their pay, they'd need to work at least 40 hours a day, and unfortunately, that's not possible. Those millionaires and billionaires don't need all that money for working 6-10 hours a day.

LOL, have you heard them? You'd have more luck finding a cohesive thought along Haight-Ashbury in 1965.

Wow. Staggering.

Nope "You Tube". they seem so impressed by themselves they put every video up they can. The comedy of some of it is pretty good.

These are protesters not thinkers.

Protesters are often the thinkers. The ones not satisfied just being a cog, looking down and advancing the machinery without question. They question, they dissent, they stand against the machine when it is necessary. Freedom must be maintained, the Republic must be kept. And you cannot do that with mere cogs.
