Hoffa Threatens GOP At Obama Event: "Take These Son Of Bitches Out"

Yes, he was. First, he was a member of the German Worker's party, then the National Socialist German Workers party.

You think that the word, "Socialist", was used on accident?

I suggest you read an actual history book, vice getting your historical facts from Libbo journalists and hearsay at the coffee shop.

There's stuff all over the net that shows that Hitler wasn't a Right Wing Conservative.

Hitler Was A Socialist, (And Not A Right Wing Conservative) « DemocraticPeace Blog

It's idiotic to think that he was.

Yes, the Nationalist Socialist party had nothing to do with socialism, any more than the German Democratic Republic (East Germany, for your benefit) had anything to do with Democracy.

I guess it's just me, but I generally credit a war to the team that fired the first shots.

It is just you. Sending in warships and re-supplying a fort with the full intention of blockading another country's trade and impose foreign tariffs collections are acts of war in everybody's book.

Lincoln knew this, and almost every one of his advisors advised him not to. He started the war, intentionally, and the historical record is very clear. Even his own Party's newspapers said as much at the time. It's pretty tough to spend milllions of dollars on the military for months, refuse any attempts at resolution, commit deliberate acts of war and then proclaim innocence in starting one. Firing the first shot is completely irrelevant.

After gaining power, the Nazis adopted several leftist programs, notably Stalins '5 Year Plans' style.

This article summarizes a few. Personally, my opinion is that for the 'little people', there is little difference between 'right wing' and 'left wing' as far as results go; they both depend on slavery and police states, and for most of us 'right' and 'left' are distinctions without a difference as far as end results go.

Hitler's Leftist Economic Policies

FDR was more of a fascist style administration than leftist, for instance. He saved the banks first, and 'everybody else' later.

Funny. Am I to learn from this lesson of yours that the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the official name for North Korea, is democratic?

So far I have heard not one hateful or racist word coming from the Tea Party, and I hear nothing but from Liberals.

They use hateful threatening terms, and we hear them almost every day.

I believe the reason is they are trying to draw attention away from Obama's endless list of failures.

Nationalism is not a right wing monopoly. In fact, the Nazi Party embraced left wingers as well.

National Bolshevism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

See also Strasserism.

Let's not forget about all the Jews that Stalin murdered, because they were Jews. Stalin killed more Jews than Hitler ever dreamed of.

Not to mention the famines in the Ukraine and The Kuban Steppe.

The Bolshevik revolution began, as Mr. Lustiger tells it, with a campaign against anti-Semitism and promotion of the Yiddish language and literature. At one point, there were 400 Yiddish periodicals. By 1938, there were none. The Communists liquidated Jewish institutions, publishing houses, cultural associations and arrested their employees.

Keep your mouth shut and your ears open and it is a well known fact, that you will learn something. Posting something that silly won't teach you a thing.

I think it's more about fear mongering, than anything.

I see little real distinctions between Hitler and Stalin as dictators. Even the art both governments created as 'Official' art is so similar as to appear to be done by the same artists.

As for Jews, let's not forget the Jewish Fascists who supported Mussolini's regime as well as Franco's, until their pacts with Hitler. Merely being Jewish is no defense against stupidity and greed, nor does it grant automatic moral superiority and protection from criticism. Those categories are reserved for Arabs and Islamic terrorist gangs.

Hitler was not a socialist. Good lord. Read a history book.

Maybe he called himself a Socialist in order to get the support of the Leftists. The USSR did the same thing and the Leftists supported them for generations, just like many supported Fidel Castro, Mao and other Socialist mass murderers.

Call yourself a Socialist and there is no sin great enough that the Left will not excuse. And later, well after the history is in and the atrocities have been verified, the perpetrators will have magically become "right wing".

I think the Tea Party should come up with a better name for themselves; something more appropriate to their actual historical lineage. The Tea Partiers are nothing like revolutionaries, they are reactionaries; so they really can't claim any connection to the patriots of 1776. The Confederacy would be a much more accurate comparison. Perhaps they could call themselves The White People's Party of America or The We Hate Everybody Who Ain't Us Party. The so called Tea Party is a proto fascist, right wing, reactionary movement, not a revolution.

How about Fox News' long history of accusing Obama of being a Muslim, racist, terrorist sympathizing, Kenyan? Denounce away.... :popcorn2:

:) certainly as soon as you provide specific examples. I am aware of one where an opinion guy said Obama was a racist because his policies were racist - a remark he later said was incorrect and apologized for. But FOX accusing Obama of being a Muslim or a Terrorist Sympathizing Kenyan? now that I haven't heard.

Hitler was not a socialist. Good lord. Read a history book.

yes and no. he was a national socialist rather than an international socialist (which was the big divide of the day within that community) by ideology, but more of a corporatist (soft socialism) when it came to policy implementation. Certainly he was no fan of the free market.

will conservatives and libertarians be allowed to participate in this government of yours or is this a progressives only club?

No comrade, Captain "America" wants it socialist.....er uh progressive.

No I want to talk about Hoffa and his call to get union members to the voting booth to It's about time a union leader stood up and talked to his members. Maybe now some other union leaders will jump on the Hoffa band wagon to energize thier members to take action at the voting booths
No, frankly it's about time a union leader, in fact all union leaders, STFU. We've had about enough of these thieving bastards who ride in limosines while the duped union workers have their pay scraped off for $million. Those are the sons of bitches that need to be taken out.

The worse thing is Redress, Cpwill is smart enough to actually check the full video before he posts this. So he likely KNEW what he was pushing was a lie.
Oh this post is precious, OC trying to have a conversation with Redress, and being Liked by haymarket. Someone divided by infinity.

 remember when the left wing in general and the media in particular were all aghast at the horror of the notion that someone would quote Jefferson at a Tea Party Rally, and how doesn't that mean that all conservatives are so full of anger and violence and rage?

yeah. Expect them to sort of take this with a shrug.

Jimmy Hoffa, of course, will naturally be held responsible by the media the next time some nutcase shoots at or otherwise assaults a Republican / Tea Party supporter. Right? Right?

oh, wait, no. not right. Because being a liberal means never being held responsible for your rhetoric. :)

The video is funny, though. He thinks he's energizing the crowd - but everyone behind him looks like they don't give a **** about what he's saying. Completely uninvolved and unmoved. (not in the OP video via link - a different one where you can't see the audience in the front)

All that drama for nothing.

We simply cannot afford their vision in America anymore. Their time has come and gone and we are still paying dearly for it. They have the Mr. Pooh touch. Everything they touch turns to **** for the average Joe. Only the rich are getting anywhere and even some of them are getting eaten by their own. The cards are all stacked in their favor and we can thank the GOP for that as we watch our savings go from our pockets to theirs.

Really??

How have things been for the "average Joe" during the past three years.

Are they better off now than they were three years ago??

I hate to break this to you, but the GOP wasn't in power between 2008 and 2010 and still control only one third of government.

First this

My point was that we have to clean up extremist political rhetoric. . .These murders should be a wake up call to all politicians to clean up the rhetoric that is laced with violent images and language.

Now these

So a war on some working people because they are in union and thus your enemy is okay by you because you see it as a limited action that we are suppose to pretend will have no wider impact upon other workers?!?!?!?!

The secret is no longer a secret. It is well known and for the radical right warriors to pretend to play ostrich is just silly at this point

Its really NOT a secret anymore so the warriors of the far right do not have to pretend that it is not being waged. That cover has been blown.

Nobody told Hoffa that the polite thing to do is pretend that there is NOT a war on working people.

You do need to keep up. the self proclaimed "capitalist tool" Forbes Magazine publicly agrees that the war is in full swing

So Gabby Giffords, shot because of evil over the top right wing rhetoric laced with violent images and language. However, referring to people who disagree with you as "warriors" and claiming their engaging in a "war" agains tpeople is obviously okay and not in any way rhetoric laced with violent images or language when its coming from someone on the left.

Its crap like this which shows why there's no reason to listen to ridiculous hyper partisans on these issues. I'll give it to Tucker once more as being one of the few people who actually stayed consistant on this issue rather than rationalizing away why its alright for their side to do it.

We all know mods stick up for each other, but there are plenty of "regular" posters here who would do, and did, the same thing and they are on both sides of the isle. I think when it comes to crap like this, most people on this forum come down to a level of reality that makes me proud, they stop the partisan bull**** long enough to say "Oh no, no way can we justify this and no way is this ok for anybody in any party to do."

Personally, I love war games, reading about wars, guns, etc. I love the war talk rhetoric. I love it on both sides. It's better than pansies and roses. But.....it's gotta stay verbal. Don't take the **** literally you whackjob. (talking to that dude that shot the Gabster.)

To be fair, it's because I don't have a side in the Democrat/Republican battle for me to rationalize in favor of. That might make it easier to stay consistent.
