Surveillance photo shows officer in sex act: Some may find this photo offensive

Will he have to register as a sex offender like anyone else caught in broad daylight having sex like this?

The ballet slippers still kinda throw everything off for me. Gotta make you wonder what the real dealio is. And frankly...Im not all that intersted in being serious about something like this til more is known. This could be a total farce...some guy and his girl fullfilling a "punish me, Officer Sexy" fantasy. Could be just a woman engaged in some community service. Could be abuse of power. Could be a cop getting caught in daylight and which case he should receive the same consequences as any other person. Could be he was on his lunch break enjoying a nooner. We just dont know. Til then...
 
if I get caught taking a piss in my back yard on google earth...can I be charged with public indecency?

I know I'm reminded of such when I turn on the TV and see some camera catching Paris Hilton chewing gum and acting like it's need-to-see television.

Personally IM not bothered by this at all.
Im GUESSING they drove far off the road and got caught by a surveillance cam post on the edge of someones property. Who cares :shrug:

Now with that being said once this photo got released to press, media, whatever, IF the guy/police station can be identified Im sure his boss cares and there is a code of conduct.

If he was off duty he should just be lightly reprimanded, if he was on duty he'll probably get fired.

A lawyer woud cite his source. And a lawyer would also know that DC's adultery law was repealed in 2004 (See 2004 D.C. Sess. Law Serv. 15-154 § 3(b) (West) (repealing D.C. Code § 22-201)). So we'll score that a tie: it was a misdemeanor in the 90s, but it is not now.

and when did Clinton commit adultery? :ssst: which was my point :shrug: that the law was repealed in 2004 is irrelevent, Clinton's actions were illegal at the time.

if she was engaging in a quid pro quo arrangement, where what the cop was offering was the failure to enforce the law, at the public's expense, then he abused his authority. he cannot trade what is not his to exchange

but we do not know whether that was the case, or that this was merely a couple engaging in harmless sexual role play
so it would be premature to cum to any such conclusion


as a sports official, we are expected not to give the appearance of any possible misconduct. so, we do not go into bars, liquor stores, or other less-than-wholesome environments while in uniform, which might potentially cause the public to form a lesser opinion of sports officials if we are seen there
would be surprised the cops don't have a similar standard of conduct

Well if there was really rape or assault or as Bubba said, some quid pro quo arrangement; one doesn't have to come forward for there to have been harm done. But yeah, until we know more details there isn't much we can say. The best we could hope for is that this wasn't an actual police officer, but rather a uniformed security agent, and that the sex was consensual and no rights were violated.
