RNC Chairman: Party Debt Is Worse Than Numbers Sheet Shows | FoxNews.com
RNC Is $23 Million in Debt, Says Chairman Reince Priebus - Political Hotsheet - CBS News
On one side, we have the democrats bowing to the banks again and failing come up with a plan to bring this fiscal runaway train under control.
Then on the other side we have a party chomping at the bit to make hay with it by claiming to be the more fiscally responsible choice, better suited to get the economy going again...
... just one problem...
They are almost $24 million in debt.
$15 million in loans? Loans? Backed by what assets? With what plan to pay it back? How do you sell this to future and returning donors? Are they now going to be the party of small change?
In keeping with full disclosure, I personally hate political parties of all stripes... so far, just to save on the kneejerk ignorant personal attacks.

I believe it is best to get out all the facts as we know them associated with our financial position," Priebus said in a statement. "To date, the committee has approximately $23 million in debt: $15 million in loans, and $8 million owed to vendors."
