Ex-death row inmate enjoys first night of freedom

I guess I'll just have to watch the second documentary. I never watched any of them but I am familiar with this case, because my best friend used to watch the documentaries and she kept me informed. Since they out of prison and a third documentary is in the makes, I'll make time to watch the previous ones.

keep your eye out for Mark Byers comments in the second Documentary. the man just oozes evil.

Ex-death row inmate enjoys first night of freedom - Yahoo! News

The death row/sentencing system is broken. As we speak hundreds have been freed thanks to new evidence. What's sad is that there are probably dozens/hundreds more who've been executed with little chance to clear their names.

It doesn't seem right to say the current system is broken because the current system is freeing hundreds of innocent people.

I think you mean the old system was broken, and the new system is able to free them given DNA.

Executing innocent people is a heinous crime. Let's start with that one.

You start by setting up, the system. Everyone should have, the same legal defense that OJ Simpson had access to. Despite everyone's wish to the contrary, "justice" is expensive in this country.

The reason most of these people are being wrongly convicted in the first place is that they don't have the resources to properly defend themselves legally.

This is true and therefor their quilt or not is never proven beyond a reasonable doubt. Our laws and those who practice it have made it what it is today, a fine chess game for gentleman at the expense of the accused.

Is he the guy that fell down and lost all his teeth, after experts said the boy's bodies had bite marks?
