First, we would need to look at whether these quotes were taken in context, misleading, whether this was some quote from the past that this person may or may not currently believe, whether it is one of those vague associations of no real substance (like that professor guy who was in the bellweathers or whatever), or whether this belief had any actual impact on policy.

Thinking about it further. What seems to happen is that we often get sound bytes which leave out the further reasoning and context of discussions and are aimed more at the "boogie man is going to steal you soul/wealth/liberty/etc" rhetoric. So, feel free to give me a quote or two and we can look at the context and all of the information (not just what beck supplies) and see if the claim stands or not.

I will even start with the "chickens coming home to roost" comment from that pastor in Chicago.



Here is the full video, please tell me where Rev Wright made an untrue statement. The simple fact is, that this country has done some pretty terrible stuff over the years, however, the essential message is that one states putting evil into the world will eventually boomerang on us. While not a comfortable statement, there is nothing untrue.

I use to listen to the Amazing Athiest, I find him far too much of a wanker and a blowhard after he would post like hour long videos ranting on and on and on.

Brevity is the soul of wit, of which he has none left.

I was not doing anything of the sort. I was also referring to Beck in general, not just in this particular instance.
