I don't believe the GOP leadership should cave on taxes....but I'm more for compromise right now....

everyone knows that the government spending is out of control. there should not need to be a compromise for both parties to cut spending. the compromise should be each party agrees to cuts on their vote buying spending.

tax hikes have no relevance to a runaway government. The GOP has its sacred cows, the dems have theirs. Compromise should be the GOP giving in to some cuts in their favorite programs with the dems doing the same.

Cutting entitlements from democratic base is a lot more of a sacred cow than cutting tiny pecks of defense spending, when half of the current republican caucus probably doesn't even care about military (tea party)

47 percent of Americans are thieves then I guess. Last gallop poll said that rich should be taxed higher.

I find it disgusting that we have a system where a bunch of people can vote up the taxes of a minority and pay no tax increases themselves. If we have a flat tax that would not be possible because if you want the rich to pay more you will have to pay more yourself

comparing human slavery to having to pay 3% more in FIT, is pretty darn ridiculous.
