Downtown Vancouver rocked by Stanley-Cup post game riot

Yes, I'm going to make this political. What is it with blue cities and liberal bastions rioting immediately after championship games? And usually, it's the winning team that riots, which is odder even.

And yes, it does seem to follow certain cities with particularly pent-up angst. And they tend to be among the bluest out there.

This has got to be about the dumbest generalization I've read on this board in quite some time.

Please stop huffing glue. I know it makes you all giddy and I'm sure it feels great, but you're literally killing brain cells every time you do it.

Disgusting animals.

Can we bring back public hangings?
Maybe. Or maybe we begin to squash riots by catching these guys, fining them for the cost of dealing with them and, if they are unable to pay, boot them out of the country.

Why make it political? What is the point? A city's majority political lean has nothing to do with how likely it is that a riot could occur. Riots can occur anywhere.

Someone must have turned off the floodlights during the game...

They're liberal alright. And here is the undeniable, irrefutable, no doubt whatsoever, godless, shameless, liberal proof:
