With Weiner's professional life on the verge of collapse, both he and his wife have turned to the Clintons -- for consolation, for help or just an ear that will listen. The congressman, who has embarked on an epic apology tour in the halls of Congress to try and convince colleagues he can keep his seat, reportedly called the former president to say he's sorry after he confessed to his indiscretions at a press conference Monday afternoon. It's not clear what transpired on the call.

The Clintons are said to be upset by Weiner's earthquake revelations. According to The Wall Street Journal, Abedin also sought the counsel of Hillary Clinton -- who knows a thing or two about straying husbands -- on Monday sometime before Weiner went public with his online dalliances and after he confessed privately to his wife.

This is laughable.

How many nights a year do the Clintons sleep in the same bed? How many WOMEN does Clinton sleep with in a year. I'd bet the latter far exceeds the former.

What advice could they possibly give? Stick to a marriage of political convenience and just practice a bit more discretion?

If I were Hillary I'd be like, "screw this, find somebody else to advise you on how to deal with a cheater hubby. I'm not the only one, damn it"

All marriages are political. The Clintons should be applauded for keeping theirs together. It is certainly better than the alternative.

I will never understand conservatives finding fault with a couple staying married.

Huh? Conservatives are the ones who encouraging sticking to vows, not abandoning them.

But how are the Clintons "married"? They barely see each other, and I'd bet they go weeks without talking to each other routinely.

The question might well be how many times to they even see each other in any month?


By the way Bill doesn't sleep with these woman, it's all about the Lewinski, if you get my drift.

On the other hand I don't see Hillary playing in any closet anytime soon.

As far as the Clinton's being able to pull Weiner out of the fire, I think it's too late and and he's one burnt Weiner.

I do feel sorry for his wife for marrying the damn fool and now being stuck with the bastard sort of.
