So because some Republicans are against Gay marriage, as are many Democrats including the President, Republican Gays should be centered out and treated with special vindictiveness and venom?

This is what the Democrats do and your response is their traditional excuse. The same excuse also holds in their treatments of Blacks and women.

This is the hypocrisy, my friend, and it is hateful and terribly mean-spirited. The message to parents of Gay children is to never allow your children to become Republicans, and the same holds true for Black parents as well. The Democrats will surely get you if they can.

The way liberals treat black conservatives is shameful.

But the gay "conservatives" ruined by these scandals would have never had a problem if they hadn't been lying to the world in the first place.

Many Gays 'lie to the world', although the situation is improving rapidly. Sadly, these changes didn't come about soon enough for many, and they still have a very difficult time in many areas of the world.

As of 2008, they continued to support the Defense of Marriage act which was a deliberate attempt to deny homosexuals equal protection under the law.

Not as strong a point as I would have liked to make. On the other hand, the Texas GOP is trying to reinstate sodomy laws.

That's the Defense of Marriage, not an attack on Gays. They are also against plural marriages. And let's keep in mind that President Obama has also said he is against it.

The act and meaning of marriage has been irretrievably diluted and marriage among Gays will soon become a legal reality, and then plural marriages.

Personally I'm in favor of both of them, but I respect opposing views.

Yeah.............The Loudmouth got his trap slapped shut, by his very own Weiner. That's one of the reasons I stopped being an a**hole in the execution of my job-duties, a long, long time ago. Ya never know when ya might take a fall. If you've been a jerk, everybody will pounce, when ya do. As the old adage goes, "Be careful who you hurt on the way up, because you might meet them, on your way down." I could forgive Weiner, if he weren't such an a**hole.

Our own damn president lied about what the employment numbers would be with his trillion dollar spendulous plan. But that's one thing. He might be a blessing in disguise. As if Obama really needed it, he might be the straw that broke the democrats back, guaranteeing a republican in office in 2013.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch....if Weiner refuses to retire he must be forced out. If the nation doesn't demand ethical behavior from it's elected representatives, what exactly does it expect? If the nation is going to tolerate this immature high-school nonsense from elected Congressmen, when does it expect the Congress to do it's real job, which is to defend the nation?


Forcing Weiner out shouldn't take much time.

He's already confessed, there's no need for a "trial". Perform the due diligence to investigate exactly who he contacted, (and how old they were...), what government resources were consumed, and get rid of him.

Until the House is clean, it can't be trusted to do anything but protect it's own interests.

Establish the Weiner Bar, and kick out any sorry ass that, like Weiner, you wouldn't trust talking to your daughter, your wife, your sister.

With sixty thousand billion dollars of unfunded obligations it's time we started holding Congress respsonsible for EVERYTHING. Public office is a honor and a responsiblity. It's past time we started expecting our officeholders to honor and respect us.
