And how many people on BOTH sides bought his "someone hacked my account" lie. I was laughing the entire time knowing that was bull****. If someone would bother to go through the trouble of hacking that mans account, they'd do alot more than post a photo of him in his underwear.

I heard about this on the Fox News radio update and was entirely amused to hear them emphasize no less than four times in 30 seconds that he was a New York Democrat.

Yeah I heard that excuse and was suspicious. Then I heard he was making "legitimate" tweets at exactly the same time. Really? The hacker just happened to break in exactly while you were also tweeting? And where'd he get that photo anyway?

At least he's fessing up now. What a dope. Too bad, I like the guy and would like to keep him around congress.

I don't think it necessarily makes him a pervert. Guys across the globe are doing crap like this. However, when you are an elected official, a certain standard of professionalism is expected. While that may be true, it doesn't mean that these people aren't human beings. I just can't believe he'd be stupid enough to do something like this considering that his name is Weiner. Then, on top of that, he denied it. He had to know he was going to get caught.

He should resign. Whether he will do that or not remains to be seen. I'm sure there will be immense pressure for him to do so in the coming days and weeks, which will probably result in that.

When these scumbags get caught, and refuse to resign, they should just state publicly, "My voters might forgive me. I'll let them decide." That's honest and accurate. If they survive, then their voters did forgive them, and all is good. But when they justify staying in power by making excuses ("It's just my private life......", etc.), I want to flatten them with a bulldozer. NO FRIG'N EXCUSES.

I esssentially agree. If he had integrity, he would resign, but its ultimately for the voters in his district. and the Democrat machine, to decide.

He has certainly been neutered though. No more being the Democrat pit-bull on TV. Just the punchline.
