Romney, Palin Lead Reduced GOP Field for 2012

A vote for a Palin ticket would be a vote for her Vice President candidate because she has never followed through with anything in her whole life. She would quit by the first year.

Sorry she doesn't have the fortitude when the tough gets going.

That might be a consideration if it were coming from anyone whom might have voted for anyone other than Obama to begin with.....If liberals really think that Conservatives, and Republicans are going to let them decide who they should vote for anymore, they are smokin' crack.

Not at all. We are just fishing pros who know how the trout will strike at shiny tin foil.

Your poll suggest a very astonishing approval of Palin by GOP voters and perhaps that reveals why they are trout like. The recent excitement over Trump shows again they will strike at any fishing lure that sparkles.

Trump went nowhere and has dropped out of the race,

As for the Vice President debate here, the VP is selected by the presidental candidate but then they both must be elected.

The vice President is selected by the Presidential nominee, not the people, and cannot win or lose the election.

The lost of the election by McCain in all fairness was probably caused by Bush more than anything. The 2008 election was for the Democrats to lose as it was a walk in after the last disaster.

Sure, that's closer to the truth. There was also the opportunity to elect the first Black President and although he had a very thin resume he still proved very appealing to a significant number of voters. McCain himself was not a strong candidate either.

Well the American people didn't get much of a catch with poor Barrack Obama. The electorate will be throwing him back in the water the first chance they get.

People are so funny...

A week ago, people had forgotten who Sarah Palin was...

But now that she's got herself a bus, all these Teabag dopes are like, "Oh yeah, her..."

You should be speaking for yourself here, not anyone else.

You seem strangely unaware of what's actually going on in the political arena.

Palin fell off the radar while Trump went on his birther tour.

So, she got a bus, made movie and a commercial.... "Oh look who's back to save us from the black man, the failed Gov of a welfare state!"

Even considering her for one second as serious candidate shows how far off the deep end the election a black president has pushed the GOP base. It's their southern strategy coming back to haunt them.

Contemptible charges from the left that have no merit at all. Why don't you troll somewhere else.

There goes the racist Left again!

Have you no pride, feelings of shame, or sense of decency???

Knock what off? Delayed response much? Or is it that I have ruffled you feathers elsewhere in here so now you are flexing your 'mod-ship' here in some attempt to shut down those you disagree with for some non comment, factually true btw, showing us all yet again why having the title of moderator is something some people just can't handle too well. So, "Knock it off" Yeah, heh, heh, ok....I'll 'Knock it off" all right.

Any guesses as to who posted the following??

"I'm curious, Mayor. Do you hold ANY positions that do not reek of ignorance?

I have no issue with an opposing view. I have issue with an ignorant view. That is all I see from you.

You're right. You're not. Which is precisely why you are ill informed. Interesting that you haven't figured this out, yet.

The Mayor has demonstrated that he is not for America. The Mayor has demonstrated that his main focus is beating the other guy.

I read the thread. More of your hyperpartisan overgeneralizations and lack of understanding. Nothing new and nothing relevant... as usual.

Fortunately, this is not hate speech. It is just completely misinformed speech... which is what you do.

Poor zim. Every post you make you show off your ignorance on the issue. Remember when you first came here and I challenged you on the definition of socialism and you failed MISERABLY?"

I quoted the moderator from several of his posts re "Knock it off". I should have used quotation marks for each sentence but after making the point became more interested in my coffee and left the job half done.

Oh, ok, now it makes sense....heh, heh....I was racking my brain trying to think of when I would have said those things to you......whew....

I don't want to get too far into it because I am sure there are cyber meetings of the exalted council of heads on a swivel discussing now how to smack me back for standing up for myself against a bully with a title.

Needless to say, I will ignore him in the future, not because it isn't entertaining batting about with him, but largely because he really has nothing to add.

j-mac

He knows it will have to be a very weak candidate to lose to Obama. That's how bad he is.
I think Palin would be a good president, but I think others could more easily beat him.

which is where you lose any credibility you might left. palin would certainly NOT be a good president.

We're agreed.

Perhaps they might want to discuss consistency and the same rules applying equally to everyone.

The campaign has not yet officially begun. Let's hear all of them out and then arrive at our own conclusions.

I think the "Palin is a moron" crowd might have some surprises, though they'll still probably stick with their established agenda.

Palin was not even a good mayor. She quit her job as Governor.

She rose to the level of her own incompetence right after hockey mom.

Well, one wouldn't expect that a liberal that has displayed such hatred for her would be the one to offer an objective opinion of anyone on the right to run for President.

However, this fact of her leaving office is one that she will have to overcome. So far, she has given a plausible reason for leaving the office. And it is early to discount anyone.

She rose to the level of her own incompetence right after hockey mom.

By the time this election actually comes up for a vote, I am sure that Obama's incompetence will be on the forefront. 2nd terms are always a referendum on the sitting President, and check it out, Obama's numbers are sinking like a log.

Colbert even said last night that they need to resurrect OBL so they can kill him again....hahaha.

But in the end, why should anyone voting in a republican primary even listen to an Obama sycophant as to whom to vote for?

What's with the racist crap again? If any side is racist, it's the left.

Progressives See Racism Where It Isn’t, Ignore It Where It Exists - Big Journalism

Progressives have taken issue with a cartoon published recently on this website mocking the government overreach of the First Lady’s food regulations. The cartoon ran specifically post-Super Bowl to emphasize the double standard of what Michelle Obama says regarding American diets, and the food choices offered at the White House’s Super Bowl party.
Lawrence O’Donnell stopped his beta male “Say Anything” pining over Bill O’Reilly long enough to bore us all to tears with a discombobulated diatribe about why the Hudnall/Lash cartoon was racist but apparently screaming for the lynching of Justice Thomas was not. Oh! My bad! O’Donnell said nothing of the prog-Thomas-lynching or the Cain-monkey-slur.
