    Anyone read "The Pinball Effect" by James Burke?

    Amazon.com: The Pinball Effect: How Renaissance Water Gardens Made the Carburetor Possible…

    Thoughts?

    I saw it in my Dad's office, today - he said it was really good. . . I thought it might make for a good discussion.

    I haven't read it, but I've watched every one of his shows that I was aware of. What was the name of his series- Connections? Something along that line. Thanks for the rec.

    It used to be run on PBS regularly, but that was at least 10, maybe more, years ago. I'll see if I can find any info about it and let you know if I do.
