Wrote 80 novels, most of them bestsellers and leaves behind a fortune worth more than $180 million. I learned so much about writing just from reading one of his books. RIP.
 
Not really a fan of that genre but RIP. I saw his name a lot.
 
I used to fly a bunch and thumbed through his books on the racks, in the concourse. I always went with another author; maybe I’ll try him again. Can his Dirk Pitt books be read randomly or are they in order?

Each one is a self contained story. If you like fast action Indiana Jones style, then CC is the author for you.
