Woodward's book Fear- anyone preorder?

I don’t typically read these kinds of books but I might have to make an exception in this case.

Library has a copy. On hold. Thank you

I did the audio book because I had a road trip that was 8 hours one way and 8 hours back over the holidays.

That works, but I like the feel of paper. Just think newer gens many will never know that feel

I did, I usually wait for a library copy,or cheaper paperback, but that would be after the Dems take the WH in 2020

Read it when it first came out. Thought it was a good/enlightening book.

But there really wasn't anything stunning that came out of it. Donald Trump is an odd bird who has odd ways of operating and making decisions. And he has a bizarrely inflated ego. Woodward did a nice job of conveying/confirming those facts.

The Woodward book was quite similar to Michael Wolfe's Fire and Fury. Also an interesting read...which wasn't nearly as sensational as some tried claim.

Did you recall the part where WH Advisors had Trump convinced work with Canada/EU to rein in China? I have stated time and again that was the smart policy, as it creates more leverage aimed at China with their flagrant abuse and thefts

"East coast elite held up this book as evidence of why Donald Trump is not fit to be President."
"Either they have not read the book or they are deliberately distorting what is in it"

"The Woodward account in fact tells the story of a president totally focused on the agenda, clear about his priorities, and obsessed with delivering the promises he was elected on, but blocked at every turn by almost everyone around him....."

Most of them seem to be fired or resigned by now.

Reading this is on my lengthy to do list.

I thought there was a good bit of details that were enlightening. Like the NRA/Russia ties. And Randy Credico's involvement with Roger Stone and how he saw the writing on the wall and bailed on Stone rather early. And how a lot of the political moves were more personal financial moves.
