  1. Update for those that want to leave the United States

    I was just in contact with someone in the U.S department of travel. If you don't have a passport or it expired you will need to wait 3-6 months to get your passport. The problem is they won't actually start processing applications until phase 3, and we are still in phase 1. So it will be 3-6 months plus the time it gets to phase 3 before we can escape this country. What if you want to get in your paperwork now? They are recommending you do not mail it to them, it will just delay the process, and ...

  3. Politics During COVID-19

    I'm not sure what you would call me politically nowadays. I have been a Communist sympathiser since about 2008, but have since taken a step back from it after recognising just how much went wrong in the Communist Bloc and the amount of suffering and loss of life it caused. These days, I could pass for a very moderate conservative if I stayed away from certain subjects. If you'll forgive the expression, Utopia simply isn't what it used to be.

    Here are the fundamental facts of the story:
    1) Cardinal Theodore McCarrick sexually assaulted multiple children.
    2) The previous Pope, Benedict, placed sanctions on McCarrick limiting his movement and activities.
    3) Disregarding this, Pope Francis but McCarrick back into the general populace.
    4) This was all brought to light by former Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano - in 2018. A year later in 2019, Theodore McCarrick the pedophile, was dismissed from the clergy.

  5. Forum Circa 2020, The Absence of Reason, and the Prevalence of Emotionalism and Political Bigotry.

    IMO there is a very real and rapidly growing problem in the world of political discourse. That being the absence of reason, and the substitution of emotionalism and political bigotry.
