The Tea Party is not racist

I often hear claims that the Tea Party is a racist organization. Those claims are simply useful tools for the media establishment.

According to Gallup/USA Today, the demographics are mostly in line with mainstream America's demographics.

Sure, as in any political(or other) rally, there will always be someone taking of the masses of people in order to push irrelevant bigotry. There are also those that have been caught faking their racism in order to help the media demagogue the Tea Party.

All in all, the Tea Party is just about as racist as your neighbors and co-workers, because thats who they are.

I don't think the Tea Party is inherently racist. But I don't think that this chart is somehow solid evidence that it's not.
