When we are all flying in the same plane, please don't shoot the pilot!

[FONT=&quot]This morning before the inauguration ceremony, Barack and Michelle Obama had tea at the White House with Donald and Melania Trump. No cameras. No press. Just four people having tea. That is an amazing thing to me.

[FONT=&quot]At the ceremony itself, I watched a smiling and gracious Nancy Pelosi shake the President-elect's hand and I heard a remarkable and unifying speech by Charles Schumer. I saw George W. Bush, Jimmy Carter and Bill and Hillary Clinton smile and warmly greet the President-elect and Vice President as they attended the ceremony. I don't care what anybody thinks of George or Jimmy or the Clintons, that was classy.

And I heard a very inspiring speech from President Donald Trump directed to all of us regardless of political affiliation or ideology or whether we supported him or not. Afterward the Trumps, Obamas, Bidens, and Pences all stood on the capital steps for a photo op and then embraced, kissed on cheeks, and showed genuine affection for each other.

[FONT=&quot]Honest criticism and disagreement will always be part of the political process, but my hope and prayer is that we all take the lesson from these national leaders. We are all flying in the same plane after all, and to wish for the pilot to crash and burn is neither constructive nor helpful. (Or smart.) And taking shots at the opposition does not win hearts or minds.
I hope we will all stand back, cool it with the insults and angry posts, and see how it is going to go for awhile. As American citizens I think we owe that to the new administration and to us all.

Wont happen, cause this is war, a civil war, and the people tend to be stupid.

Maybe the Elite most of all.

Well, those of us who do want the President to succeed in doing good things for America better have his back because nobody else does right now. But I still would like to persuade our leftists friends and those on the right who are #nevertrumpers to at least stand back and give him a fair chance.

The problem is that there is no real compromise between the things the two demand and seem to really want.

If you know that the pilot intends to fly into a skyscraper, he should definitely be removed and confined, at least.

Common sense- Good sense-No sense at hall- Somebody in this forum said that what you like is right. What you dislike is wrong. Who said that, in my opinion is right. Preident Trump, in my opinion, is 3/4 right. Give him time.

The pilot obviously isn't aiming for any buildings. But it seems some would crash the plane anyway to keep him from what he is aiming at.

So what is it that Trump is aiming for that they don't want?

He closed his inaugural speech with:

-Together, We Will Make America Strong Again.

-We Will Make America Wealthy Again.

-We Will Make America Proud Again.

-We Will Make America Safe Again.

-And, Yes, Together, We Will Make America Great Again

Does the opposition want America to be weak? Poor? Ashamed? Unsafe? Mediocre?

Well! Today I see that "Milano likes this post" has been changed to "Milano TRES BORRACHOS likes this post". It seems that somebody did'nt like it. Anyway, I add the translation of TRES BORRACHOS : it means : 3 drunk people. Thanks to the Anonimous for giving me the possibility of showing my PERFECT knowledge of both languages. Descansa en paz. amiguito!

Removing the pilot flying at a mountain side needs to be done with a quick and clean move. What you don't want is disorienting squabbling and lots of people grabbing and fumbling the controls.

Most people in the USA drink coffee in the morning and tea in the afternoon.

Just sayin'.
