    We reconvened this afternoon over lunch. More of the siblings and more of their friends. The girls a bit angry and venomous, but temperatures ameliorated with home made breads and lemonade.   2. Technology and Women's Rights

    During this morning's breakfast with some of the teen grandchildren and their friends we started a dialog about the women's rights movements emanating from America's relative easy acceptance of new technology, from Fulton's steamboat technology onwards, but more inclusive small and large technological leaps in the kitchen and washroom. New gadgets that made kitchen work easier, more efficient, less laborious, and the same for washing clothing and cleaning the house, labor mostly relegated to women. ...

  3. Swap a name game, It's Fun or Scary

    Years before the rise of Trump a book was written about a historical figure people know by name. If you look at a book published and its 2013 reviewed and swap out the name, his party affiliation & country of origin, it becomes chilling to examine. That historical figure was Hitler, his party the Naziís and the country Germany.

    As you read through the review, change the name Trump for Hitler, Trumpianís for Naziís and America for Germany and you will hear an echo in history. ...
