The YAHOO comments typically run about 10% that post like the typical idiot leftist ****head and 90% that trash YAHOOs biased reporting. I reckon they cancelled the comments because anyone that reads the comments might get the impression that the ignorant leftist ****heads arent numerous..they are just loud.

Like someone rubbernecking a horrible accident, I will sometimes scroll through the Yahoo comments. They're pretty bad so this is unsurprising.
 
ok, i'm a comments section connoisseur. here's the Helix summary :

Yahoo commenters were mostly angry right wingers.

WaPo can be funny at times.

Politico? meh. it's ok, but it has a software problem that allows spambots to post and post and post. "Make 5,789,438 gajillion a day! here's the link, but don't copy the (*7(*&9*^&5&%8&^%87%878 part!"

NYT is ok. the discussion there is much more rational.

if you need some Jerry Springer crazy for your lunch twenty minutes, then Fox! however, i stopped doing that years ago because i don't want to give them the clicks.

The Hill is probably the best for article comments, IMO.

i collect the really funny article comments.
 
Yahoo comments are filled with alt right trolls and Russian bots. Everyone knows this. Similar to youtube comments.

Meh, it's their site, they can turn them off if they want to. I honestly didn't know yahoo was still a thing.

Aw now moi you know that is just bull**** trumpian spin. Tough guy didn't get the critical changes from canada he wanted. He made a big deal over a tarrif on a market that was worth PEANUTS in the scheme of things, and for that he needlessly and arrogantly and ignorantly imposed tariffs on Canada because we were a national security threat.

Face it, our grand Canadian conspiracy continues. We can now reveal it wasn't the russians it was us. Yes yes, our evil network of strategically placed agents who perfectly blend in with you americans, being easily fooled anyway, we help trump get elected so he could create the national and international clustermuck that America has become virtually overnight!

Now, the next phase in our master plan has begun. Decent Joe Biden will champion universal healthcare, intelligent and rational gun control, strengthening social security, justice reform and all kinds of other reforms in rebuilding the damage of trump's wrecking ball.
