I didn't realize the editor left Melania in the photo at the time. In fact, your headline never mentioned her name so having limited information, his response did seem reasonable.
Now that I know he cropped Trump but left her in, he's imo, not reasonable or a better way of putting it is that he didn't show much professionalism.

Okay, so the fox news editor was not "reasonable," which means your speculation that he cut out trump because he wasn't involved in Epstein's operation is nonsense. That's one down.

Well lets put it this way. If Maxwell isn't killed in jail, she probably has nothing on Trump. I'll leave all that up to her. She will name names. If she survives, those names will name names. This could end up being a really big scandal, or not.

Just remember, in the state of NY, there is no longer a statute of limitations on rape, especially rape of a minor.

Now, Ghislaine Maxwell is going to stand trial for sure, she's being arraigned on Friday. And, she will not be given any chance to escape by posting bond. This woman is as heinous as Epstein was and she knows all the names. How much she's willing to give up to save a 20 year prison sentence is still to be determined. She's a mulit-millionaire socialite and I don't think she sees life in prison in her future.

I still haven't 'steeled' myself enough to watch the rest of the series but to the point I have, it's been more than horrible. There's no words to describe what he was involved in, he and all those other powerful public figures.

Just another proof that what the world is dealing with is addiction to the nerochemicals associated with achieving status within the group. Much of the "proof" that triggers the desired reward has do do with getting to do things lower class people don't. Getting to enjoy the rules not applying to you.

But when you hit the reward level over and over it becomes necessary to do it more often and in bigger ways. Just like a junkie needs a bigger shot, more often.

Addiction to our pleasurable neurochemicals is a real thing. Gamblers are addicted to the rich of winning. People risk their lives to get the accompanying rush. Sex addicats need more and more partners and more extreme acts to get off.

Tolerance develops.

And before we get sidetracked on right and wrong, it is good to occasionally asphalt yourself why people who worked their asses off and for more money than they or their descendants could clever spend continue to grab every dollar they can get their hands on? What motivates them?

We like to think we don't have instincts. But our fancy brains didn't replace earlier ones. They developed as add ons and extensions. All the old structures are still there. The difference is our instincts don't exert the kind of control they do in animals. They're still there, we just call them "drives". They function the same way instincts do. Chemically.

And an addiction can develop to any of them. Even the unpleasant ones, unfortunately.

Steady doses of strong emotion is the simple tool by way of which we have arrived at the "cult" phenomenon we see today.

It is wholly unnatural for so many people to agree so completely on so many things.

There's a lot of pieces to the Jeffrey Epstein saga including but importantly, where he got his 'victims'. Many of them were 'scouted' by four women. There was a ring of women 'procurers' including Sarah Kellen, Lesley Groff, Adriana Ross and Nadia Marcinkova. Many models from NY and Florida were procured by these women in addition to Ghislaine Maxwell.

Melania Trump was a model during the same time that Trump owned his own modeling agency, Trump Model Management known as 'T Models', which he owned from 1999 until 2017, a full two years after he was elected president. Melania's first apartment after moving from Milan to New York was sharing the apartment at the Zeckendorf Towers in Union Square, NY with fashion photographer Matthew Atanian, who had never met Melania until she was introduced to him in 1995 by Metropolitan Models co-owner Paolo Zampolli, a friend of her future husband Donald Trump.

This is all conjecture of course, anyone who wants can write it off to conspiracy theory legend, but I'm convinced, and have been since the arrest of Epstein in 2019, that Trump met Melania through her contacts with Epstein's procurers who frequented the modeling agencies soliciting models. This struck me the first time I saw that photo of Trump, Melania, Epstein and Maxwell. There's something that runs deeper in those 'friendships'.
