When You Lose The Washington Examiner

That federal org will release any statement they're ordered to.

Not to mention that the cops being attacked werent the ones by the WH/church where The Donald was.

So the Park Police are liars. Is that what you are saying? I just read a report that intel said in that "peaceful crowd" they observed rocks being passed out among the "peaceful protesters". Would they be lying too? Have you not noticed how many backpacks are being worn among those 'peaceful protesters'? Right now in that particular area close to 100 police officers have been injured by the "peaceful protesters" having crap thrown at them. It has been absolutely violent every night. I believe it was Sunday night alone that the 'peaceful protesters' injured 70 law enforcement officials. So please tell me why 'peaceful protesters' keep coming to a place that for days now has been a powder keg? Logic says 'peaceful protesters' would not congregate there.

As a president Trump makes a brutal stage manager.

I've been the park police. And yes, when the mayor or president says you will or will not give a specific statement to the press, that's exactly what you do.

And everything you are commenting on is coming from that release. If those were actual reports, they were probably from elsewhere in DC, easier to 'fake it.' You know, stick as close to the truth as possible.

And since when is protesting in front of a church a 'powder keg?' It was not described that way by other media. Do you really think they would have allowed The Donald anywhere near a protest that was a 'powder keg?'

This is the barely coherent and grammatically inept speech of a man who desperately wants to be able to claim that he "cured coronavirus."

That's it, in a nutshell. When we do get a handle on this crisis, he wants to be able to pull out footage and declare "I called it! I said use this! I said try this! I told them to do this, it was my idea!" He's just doing it with lots of stupid stuff because he doesnt want to miss an opportunity. He's afraid 'the big one' will be mentioned and he wont get credit for it.

It's all about declaring himself the savior of the cv crisis and we'll hear all about it, esp in his campaign. (Which is basically each of his press briefings these days) --- Lursa

Park Police have issued a statement saying the protesters were no forced back because of Trump's visit, it was due to protesters attacking police.

Park Police say DC protesters cleared because they attacked cops, not because of Trump church visit: report | Fox News

Coming from Fox News, I am sure they found a repuke source for that. All the reporting has been that they were peacefully protesting. Why do you think Trumps rose garden speech kept getting delayed? They were waiting for the attacking forces to get in place so it could all be timed properly. No one will ever convince me or any of the other millions of people that feel the same way that's not what happened.

Trump effed up another one and is now trying to lie his way out of it. The sorry SOB doesn't even respect the bible nor the church.

Oh, and Barr personally oversees the park police?

Attorney General William P. Barr personally ordered law enforcement officials on the ground to extend the perimeter around Lafayette Square in Washington to push back protesters just before President Trump spoke Monday, a Justice Department official said.

I shared what I have read today in numerous articles. You don't care to believe my commentary, then don't. Right now on Special Report they gave a detailed explanation of what occurred yesterday and here is what they said.

After the horrific violence on Sunday night, when the historic church was set on fire along with other structures, monuments desecrated, 70 officers injured, a jumper over the fence, the the First Family was ordered to to the bunker by the Secret Service. But how was that reported? You know, it was reported that Trump was hiding in the bunker while riots destroyed DC.

After all the mayhem, the DOJ ordered the parameters around the WH to be widened. He went out to observe the changes and in one place near the church that had been set on fire the day before he was not satisfied with the changes as for one it did not protect the church . While he was there, a bottle of water was thrown directly at Bill Barr. At that time there were projectiles being thrown by some according to multiple reports.

Now the left with their cohorts in the media depicted Trump's trip out of the WH to just the church for a photo opt. What they did not tell you is he visited multiple places that have been desecrated. Both

Your media pals reported in order to clear the area they unleashed tear gas and rubber bullets. That was another lie. They used smoke canisters no rubber bullets.

But your media pals and their inaccurate reporting tainted the clergy at the Church of the Presidents that was caught on fire the day before to condemn Trump for visiting the aftermath of the fire and told him to repent. That church for centuries has been known as the President's church. Today Trump and the First Lady visited the Shrine of Pope John Paul II to lay a wreath. The reason for laying a wreath at that particular location is because Pope John Paul was known for his voice on religious liberty. Well after the visit the arch bishop gave a really hateful reply. And she did it before knowing that after that visit to lay the wreath, Trump signed an EO that strengthened the rights for people of faith around the world.

Right now the Catholic arch bishop and the clergy of the Church of the Presidents that was caught on fire, look really small right now. At least they do to many people of faith outside of DC all across this country.

Today Trump signed an EO to strengthen religious liberty here and abroad when it comes to dealing with countries that violate and do not protect religious liberties.

I don't think there is any question about it. Protesting the violence against police, businesses and public order is every bit as valid as protesting police violence against black people.
... is that why he walked across a few blocks and held up a Bible? Cause he was protesting violence against cops? Is that how it's done?

Hmmm.

Okay.

The violence, like I said, is against cops, businesses and public order. The violence is against America. All these years we've been telling you that the left hates America....well, they're finally showing those colors in fine fashion and half the ****ing country is cheering them on right along with about 70% of the political class.

You guys will get what you want in November. You'll get the White House and you'll get supermajorities in both houses of the legislature. You'll have the political power to appoint 4 more justices to the Supreme Court and I'm sure those appointees will be doosies.

America will be yours for the taking and I have every confidence that you'll do just as well with America as a whole as you have with these flaming, broken glass, busted up, burned out and looted cities that are now the legacy of the "social justice" movement.

That's as good a meltdown as any but it doesn't answer my question.

Is holding up bibles in front of churches a form of protesting violence against cops?

Where is that a thing ?

Donald Trump cannot out think people. So he has to use his supporter's emotions to keep his ratings up.

None of this era is his fault. It's the idiots who allowed their emotions to be played.

I think of Trump as an abuser, lots of his actions become more understandable under such analysis.

I've said all along: the overall theme of Trumpism is "look at what you made me do".

Trumpists: "We're behaving like this because Hillary called us deplorable!" etc. Nah, Hillary called you deplorable because you are.

I made a video incidentally about this sort of excuse “the left made me go fash isnt an excuse”

I have to wonder if Trump has intelligent people giving him good advice that he simply ignores, or if he has fools giving him terrible advice that he takes.

I mean, we know that Trump is a fool. There is no other explanation for this latest dumpster fire of a stunt. But is he a stubborn fool or a gullible fool?

Yes..

I've read many of the reports, both left and right. I still don't think the truth has truly come out. I suspect that it will come out once Trump is out of office. Until then, here is my speculation, based on what I've read from insiders on how Trump thinks and makes decisions.

Trump's polling numbers are plummeting among his evangelical supporters. He wanted to stop that. He concluded, on his own, that a quick photo-op would be a good start.

Trump doesn't take advice FROM ANYONE. He goes on his instincts, his sense of marketing, from his gut. He decided the photo-op was a good idea. And, since he is the boss, there was going to be a photo-op.

The Secret Service, and the LEOs they use, are responsible for Trump's safety, first and foremost. Trump was going to the church, whether anyone else thought it was a good idea, or a safe one. So, the crowd had to dispersed, and quickly. Fallout and consequences be damned. The crowd was dispersed in short order and the president was kept safe, in spite of himself.

The Secret Service hates these kinds of situations. If the president is hurt, they take the blame. If the president doesn't get hurt, the SS was "just doing their job." There are many examples of presidents putting themselves in harm's way and the SS having to respond very quickly. Here is a picture of Jimmy Carter who has climbed on top of his limo to greet well wishers.

Many progressives have posted about President Trump appearing before that church with a Bible on many threads- ranting about it.

But often it is not what someone says the tells the most about them. Rather, you can learn far more about someone by what they won't and don't say.

What MOST tells about those progressives is not ONE of them have ANY problem or disapproval of burning down a 200+ year old historic church - possibly the most historically significant church in the United States.

They are all 100% just fine with burning it down. Some incessantly post extreme bigoted messages against Christians and Christian. Probably most celebrated the arson. From what I have seen, every progressive on this forum posting on this topic sub silentio completely approves of that ancient history building being burned. Most sub silentio approve of all the looting, arson, vandalism and violence.

What do they incessantly most hate? Trump not agreeing with them about approving of burning down that historic building.

How did the secret service let that one black woman be there? Do you think President Carter chewed out the Secret Service over it? But she is behind him and probably didn't see her. Carter is SOOOOO happy to ONLY be with white people, isn't he?

Trump has reminded me of Elmer Gantry, especially with this latest stunt.
