She's a Stanford grad in Public Policy as well as a Rhodes scholar with a Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) in politics . It's Dr. Rachel Maddow. She is qualified and then some.

Now you're saying that CNN, FOX and MSNBC are United States Government funded channels?
Russia can SAY whatever it wishes but the fact is, those are privately owned and operated commercial networks.
RT and Sputnik are not. The Russian government FUNDS them directly.

By the way, Russian laws limiting privately owned networks took effect in 2014, not as the result of Trump's election.
CNN began broadcasting again in Russia in mid-2015 but Roskomnadzor has restricted the content that they can present, and CNN's operations in Moscow must have 80% Russian ownership, according to the new laws.

So it's clear that you lack even the basic understanding of what the term "STATE CONTROLLED" or "STATE SPONSORED" media even means.
There weren't plenty...there was ONLY CNN, and if you dare to have a Freesat box with any other American network available, it is considered a crime for which you will be fined, have your Freesat box confiscated and possibly worse.

And now, thanks to Russia's "Sovereign Internet" policy, it's very likely you cannot STREAM these networks either because even if you can get around the barriers with use of VPN, "deep packet inspection" will land you in hot water if Roskomnadzor determines you are streaming material that they consider harmful.

This makes internet in Russia a lot more like it is in China, where the government blocks anything and everything it deems harmful.
So, as it turns out, as usual, you are WOE... Wrong On Everything.

Actually, I give it six months because after six months even many loyalists will begin to accept the fact that the guy they are listening to couldn't even get himself reelected while cheating six ways to Sunday.

That may be with liberal talk radio and TV, but the right wing is so starved for wing-nut conspiracy and hate content. This is one of the reasons trump is so popular with the cult. His middle-school, unfiltered hate rhetoric and outer limits CT accusations gives the knuckle-draggers exactly what they want. This is why mango decided to run as a republican. The repugs are rubes and mango's one talent is to sell the snake-oil.
