Man, I don't watch much Fox or CNN because of this. CNN, right after Trump's speech today, just launches into attacks and lies... NON-****ING STOP!

Even the one CNN reporter during the questions lied about what Trump said and Trump said that there was more to the quote then the reporter stated the whole thing which backed up what Trump said. I know that Fox's Hannity and Tucker and others do the same... but they are not the actual reporters, but I may have missed it in the past... but Wolf Blitzer... what a clown. Anyway... in this case CNN is a freaking joke... they are still going on about how he was "shocked" when he obviously was not, he was calm and clear... anyway... anyway...

Are you surprised? They're a liberal media network. They're THE liberal media network. Attacking Trump is literally their job. What did you expect, praise and adulation?

Maybe your hearing is not so good because I saw the same thing and they were accurate, as always.

I am a republican, BTW.

i believe you need to compare notes with those presented in this thread:
Trump presser 29 March

Indeed. I saw Trump say that live on Friday, and today the reporter read the entire quote containing several sentences to Trump, who of course hemmed and hawed and said it didn't mean what the words said that it meant.

Nowadays, people seem to see and hear only what they want to see and hear, I guess, in both ultra-partisan tribes. Personally, I'm purple, with excellent hearing and a good enough memory to know when both "sides" are trying to snow me or rewrite history.

trump Il Duce has told his cult not to believe what they hear or see.

Not about things I mentioned...

Trump didn't say that he did not say what the reporter was reporting... he said that the reporter was framing it against Trump not calling those Governors meaning that nobody from the WH was allowed to call them because they were disrespecting everybody, not just him... that is what was not accurate. CNN took it out of context and then with Wolf spent the next twenty minutes subtly undermining what was said...

What has Trump done, about anything, that you think was good and Presidential?

Bull crap. Trump interrupted that reporter repeatedly, before he could get the entire question out in ANY context, and was tap dancing around pretending he didn't say what he DID say. After the reporter read Trump's entire statement, word for word, they cut off the reporter's microphone.

Bombed Syria after it gassed its own people, (like Obama said was the red-line but did nothing when it was crossed). Trump actually did it. I applauded.

Of course, that was early in 2017, when he still had a competent staff of military in the WH, all of whom have either been fired or quit in disgust.

I suggest not watching TV. But, odds are it was Trump who was lying and CNN telling it like it is.

See?

It seemed because he knew where it was going and they cut off the reporters mic after Trump answered the question in a very clear manner so as to leave no doubt what he meant and the guy wanted to keep going. CNN and the other lady were the only two that I saw in that conference that wanted to ask "Gotchya!!" questions instead of to ask about the Virus, like all the rest did. Anyway... after weeks of Trump not really seeming to get what is going on he seems to have changed his understanding of the seriousness of this situation and that will benefit everybody. Do you agree with that?

The real odds are that there are people on both sides playing petty politics (Trump and reporters).

i thought 'got chya' questions were what the good reporters ask

Good point... i guess it would depend though.

Sometimes it is a good thing and sometimes it isn't.

Depends on the "Gotchya". This one was pretty week.

It is amazing how much he is obsessed with looking like he knows everything or trying to portray how smart he is... narcissist to the core.

Seriously f'd up dude, he most certainly is.

Trump is like an Etech A Sketch. He says one thing one day and the next day he shakes the Etech A Sketch and all that he said the day before is erased. "I didn't say that"

Jacinda Arden is giving a conference right now... what a difference. Questions are much more relevant and she answers questions like you would hope Trump would start doing... compassion... insight, etc.

and then do not follow up on that tRump lie because they are chasing today's tRump lies

Trump, the ultimate victim.

Disgusting.
