Whichever side you're on, I'm sure you'll agree with one thing. The other side's media is not quite being honest with you. On the right, you're sure that the MSM is biased. And you're right. They are. On the left, you're outraged that the right wing media has been constantly beating the liberals suck drum for the past 40 years, and isn't even making a pretense towards stopping the spread of misinformation. And you're right. The right wing media has been explicitly telling conservatives that liberals are literally out to destroy America for 40 years now, and it's making the true believers very, um, rambunctious.

I want to know three things. Do you have any plans to address disinformation in your partisan opponent's camp? Do you have any plans to address disinformation in your own partisan camp? And what are your strategies to identify disinformation in your personal media environment?

1) NO

2) NO

3) Ignorance is bliss.

Basically, if it's coming from Trump, Fox News, or a Trump supporter, it's almost certainly a lie, mistruth, disinformation, or exaggeration. These people have completely destroyed their credibility by lying even about the little things they don't need to lie about, so they certainly can't be believed for the big things.

Problem being is that the right wing media, hasn't exactly been that incorrect about what it is that the current left wing has been doing to the country, and the only times I've seen anything that can literally be called misinformation. Is possibly during some of the more long running opinion sections on TV.

Yet we've had left wing media that's tried to push the same falsified sorties about the right for some time now. So I don't know what exactly it is that you're trying to point out here.

I have no real issue with what little opinion that the right wing has that's proven to be objectively wrong.
I'm more worried about the left wing commentators that are trying to say that I'm a racist, or a white-supremacist. Simply because I voted for Trump, or supported a few of his policies.

The same can be said about you as well Rabid. You're in no way safe from such a broad stroke of that particular brush.

Oh look, it's one of the most consistently and intentionally dishonest posters on this forum. If Oborosen said it, it's almost certainly a lie, misrepresentation or straight up fabrication.

We're talking about someone without a shred of integrity who believes Trump is an honest man and that all of the objective lies Trump gets caught in are just vast liberal conspiracies to make him look bad.

Your words are meaningless and are dismissed by most people who even bother to read them. I usually don't bother anymore as you've destroyed all of your credibility.

I can see how it would anger you to be called a racist or a white supremacist when you're not one, just because you support someone who said a judge of Mexican descent should recuse himself because he couldn't possibly be neutral. I get it. You're not personally racist. Trump's racism is a bug to you, not a feature. You support him for other reasons. Can you show me some examples of the liberal press calling you a racist or a white supremacist?

Can you see how it might anger some people to be told that they're out to destroy America when they're not?

I'm not part of a herd. I don't give a rat's ass what herd beasts do or say.

3. I will utilize my very effective bias filter. (Just the facts, Ma'am.)

When I read something important or eye catching, I investigate. I look for multiple/credible sources.

Now you're just sinking into more desperation Rabid, because lying about me really isn't going to do more than just make you appear more illegitimate than you already are.

I know the man lies, and I damn well don't believe literally everything the man says.

But that's not going to stop you from letting yourself sink into being just as pathetic as you can be, now is it?

That statement by Trump does not actually qualify as racism. Especially when shown in context and beside the judges own statements on the matter.

I never really cared for that argument either way.

Much like all of the other claims of racism. It was just another thing that never existed, until the man decided to run for office.

When all three of the big networks and several of the cable networks are all reporting the same thing, I tend to believe what's being reported. The right can say what they wish about the msm but most of it is in their heads because of course it's negative reporting about trump for the most part.

The right wing media, now that's another story. As you've pointed out the right has been beating the left is crazy and out to destroy america drum since reagan and now its become written in stone. The left are crazy socialists out to destroy america. We hear it every day and see it on here every day. The right is making enemies out of the rest of america. If you're not a republican, you're the enemy.

There is no fighting the dis and misinformation from the right. All trump has to do is say someone is biased against him and it takes off like wildfire. No proof needed. The right is willing to believe the most outrageous stuff like hillary and the pizzagate stupidity and yet when slapped in the face over and over with facts, they dismiss them as fake news, a hoax, tds.

I hope I never get that brain dead.

We don't need Trump or any other person on the Right to convince us of bias in the media or the fact the Left would rather destroy the country than have Trump as POTUS. It's very clear to all concerned.

I'll be ignoring posts like this for starts.

I agree that the right wing media has spread the threat of Democrats for many years. I don't think you can argue that they are wrong looking at the current batch of weirdo's running for President.

I see you didn't get my drift.

My plan is to vote against Tweety's party for a generation or so.

You watch too many cartoons. Tweety is not real.

I forgot to mention my biggest weapon for combat, don't watch fox news.

What specifically do you think he lies about? When he says something, how do you know if it's a lie or not? Are you doing anything to combat his misinformation?

Well, here's a great example. Would it surprise you to hear that Trump's been dogged by accusations of racism since the 70s? He was sued twice in the 1970s for refusing to let Black people rent his apartments, and settled one of those suits in a consent decree.

Also, while you may not be racist, many Trump voters are. Here, read this article. It explains the evidence very thoroughly.

Economic Anxiety Didn’t Make People Vote Trump, Racism Did | The Nation

So while it may be frustrating and angering for you to be called a racist white supremacist when you are not one, please try to understand that people really are fighting against racist white supremacists in the Trump camp. Maybe if you spoke out against them a little bit more, or even just admitted they exist and disavow them instead of claiming it's all a big lie, you'd be lumped in with them a little bit less.

You never answered my question. Can you see how it might anger some liberals to be told that they're out to destroy America when they're not?

I merely resort to the fewest fallacies to "give the lie" to those of the opposing view.

Plans? We don nee no stinkin plans.

Your lack of plan more or less guarantees that you will fall victim to misinformation of some sort or another, and then spread it on the internet. You are a bad actor.
